Everytime I rev the engine up before shifting, the glass on my odometer rattles and sounds like crap. When I rest my hand on it, it stops so that is definitely it. It doesn't appear to unscrew, any ideas on how to tighten the glass? Can it be removed somehow?

Look in the engine compartment
and in front of the steering wheel in the eng compartment
there should be a black flexible pipe
coming from there and going down under the vehicle
to the transmission housing
shift it around without being too forceful
and that may stop the rattle,it did on my ford van
i still sometimes need to wiggle it around if it starts rattling again.
But at first it nearly drove me to distraction lol
i pushed and pulled and hit things in the engine compartment
with a rubber mallet until i found the cause of it.
[be careful of the airbag when touching things in the drivers foot well]

I'm not sure of how your instrument is made, but an easy fix might be to smear a little clear silicone sealer around the edge of the glass. If the glass is loose, then water is likely to enter and the sealer would stop that also. The old conventional round tachs or speedos have a rolled metal lip on the backside. If yours is made that way, take it off, lay it face down and use something like a wooden dowel to bend the lip down. If necessary, lay it down on a cloth and use a small hammer to gently tap the dowel.
