I have never owned a motorcycle, but i want one. I have never ridden one either. I am looking at the 2007 Yamaha Vstar Classic. I like it and I like the price. I am 6'4 and weigh 240 pounds. I am concerned that it might be too small for me. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I keep seeing these and i just don't get it. Is it a functional modification? If so, I've racked my brain and can't come up with a good reason. If anything, wouldn't it produce more drag? And if it's for aesthetic reasons then... I must be getting old because it looks like sh*t!!!! It looks like a sore thumb sticking out of place.

My beloved EN500 will not start! Press the electric start button and it sounds like the starter motor rotates but the engine does not turn over (like it is not engaging?) Any ideas what I should check first? (Engine is fine, certainly not seized - only 4400 miles!)

My girl bought a 96 Suzuki Katana 600 and it needs to be lowered couple of inches. What needs to be purchased in order to do so? Is a "dog bone" required or a "link"?

OK you lot, today at work I have got a Deauville on the ramp. It sparodically keeps cutting out. It does not cut out after a certain amount of miles, at a certain rev range /speed, in any particular traffic conditions or after any particular length of time.
It runs fine for 2-3 weeks, then without warning it "chugs" to a standstill. It will start up again and run happily after a 10 minute rest. Other times it apparently stops twice in 2 days.
I have checked the fuel pressure and output - 2.5psi and 1200ml / min, checked the compression hot and cold, checked the valve clearances, run it up for hours to check the coils are not failing when hot - resistance is within tolerance, put a scope on the fuel pump ECU feed - good, strong, regular peaks with no "tails" or outages to speak of.
It runs as sweet as a nut when it is running and I plan to take it for a long test run tommorrow. Any ideas before I do this?
I still feel it is a fuel problem.

Ive got a tzr 125 1989 and am desperately looking for some touch up paint to cover the dinks and rusty bits (that's pretty much the whole bike then..!)
Its the blue version (the other was red and white) with small yellow stripes to the tank etc.
Im searching high and low for some paint stockists, even for the paint codes (as Halfords say they can try to match it if they have the code) but having squat diddly luck at the moment.
Any ideas?? Thanks!

I'm going to be getting an A2 motorcycle license (I think) soon, which I believe is the one you get before you're 21. I'm wondering, can I use that over in the USA to ride certain power motorcycles or scooters? I'm from the UK. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks :)

I have a 2002 yz 85 and I keep fouling spark plugs. I have to replace the spark plug almost every time i go riding. I've been mixing the gas on a 32/1 ratio. I was using mixing yamalube oil with the gas, but a friend recommended i use chevron oil with the gas because it burns cleaner. I am wondering if anyone could tell me if there was any reason i might be fouling spark plugs so often.

Basically I just did a very complex deal where there was trading of cars and money and stuff, and a motorcycle 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 600 was left to me as colateral. And to make a long story short, he didnt do what he said he was going to do and i need to sell the bike. Well, the thing is I lost the key. Is there ANYWAY at all I can get a key for it. Is there like something I can stick in the ignition cylinder to make a copy of it? Or a way I can take it apart to get a mold made? Because I don't want to part it out, because it a beautiful machine. But, I need the money soon.

Thanks a million,
James

I am looking into getting my first motorcycle, and was wondering what kinds are the best for what I want. I rode a Honda Rebel that I really liked, but I was told that they only go about 45 mph so I wouldn't be able to go on the interstate with it. Can anyone tell me about some bikes that are similar in style, size, and weight, that can be driven on the interstate?

Pepboys has Baja Sports 50cc gas scooter for $700 (after $100 rebate). Is this a good deal?

Is it legal to drive the scooter on roads with 55mph limit? I know I can ride on 35mph roads but don't know about 55.

Is it easy to remove the speed governor so it can go 55mph?
