Ya gotta unscrew the fitting from the Carb Body,,then cable slips out the side of the cholke valve plunger thingie

View assembly #7,,,note the hole in side of lowest item,,just above the pic of sealing ring

That hole is where cable is anchored

It's obvious when ya get choke valve unscrewed out carb body

Careful,it's fairly delicate stuff.

Also, make sure there are no openings going to the engine (intake manifold cause carb is removed - stuff a rag in).
The choke plunger easily comes off the cable.
To help prevent this from happening - turn the choke lever to on.
