The fuel strainer on the petcock should restrict it (it it's solid and won't desolve).
You can install an in-line fuel filter for piece of mind.

Pick - Street Catalog
Go to - Index - Fuel Filter
OR
Remove it -

Search for - GA353B & ECF1600
I have both and they will do the job.

The filter on the fuel tap is a thin, long tube so it shouldn't really cause a problem. If you're really worried remove the tap ONLY after buying a new seal for it. They never go back on right.

I would not wory about it, it will probably sit in the bottom of the tank. The fuel pick up pipe in the tank will have a filter on the end.

check its pass port?

If it gives you bad dreams drain the tank and shake it out. Have you ever dropped a pic inside of a guitar?

I wouldn't do anything about it.

Forget it, it is only soft and will soften even more over time and unless it starts causing fuel starvation due to blocking the filter it will be fine.

usually the fuel cut off switch can be removed but drain fuel off first it might come out if not remove the tank and turn it upside down and shake it out .

Not a problem - leave it alone. Glad you are trying to be sensible.

Wouldn't worry about it!! it will probably 'dissolve' in the fuel thru time.
