I bought this bike 1 year ago and this sound has always been there with no changes. It sounds like a gear whine. Any ideas or suggestions?

I have just purchased a 2007 Dyna Super Glide Custom (FXDC). The front fork diamater was increased from 41mm to 49mm diameter in 2006. As a result many custom items, even those offered by the factory will only fit 2005 models and older. I specifically want a chrome headlight nacelle. The fork "center to center" spacing has changed along with the tube diameter so I can't just buy an older item and hone out the fork opening.

Thanks

I'm looking into getting my first motorcycle. I've ridden before on someone else's bike and it fit perfectly. But when I went to check out a couple of bikes this past week, none of them seemed to "fit". Please help!

I just got my license and am shopping for a helmet. Women's helmets are generally more expensive for the same features. Since our heads are basically the same, is there a difference between the two beside pricing? Thanks!

I have checked carbs, cable, timing and fuel and still have the problem of increased revs even though I am closing the throttle each time. Why are my revs increasing when I change gear?

The revs build up when I'm riding and changing gear, but not when I test it on high tick over.

Which bike is faster out of the two?
Which would win in a Circuit race around like Laguna Seca and Nordschlife Nurmburg?
The BMW K1200R or the Yamaha R1.
I think the 1200 would as its the most powerfull bike light and does 0-100km in 2.0sec.

The tank vent is free from obstruction. After the bike stalls and the key is turned off then on, there are large amounts of air bubbles which can be heard coming from inside the gas tank. After the key is turned off and then on a few times, the air bubbles in the tank get less noticeable until there is virtually no sound of bubbles in the tank. Once the sound of bubbles goes completely away in the tank, the bike will restart and run fine for about 50-70 miles. When the bike stalls again, the same process must take place in order for the bike to start and run properly again.
