They are sounding a little claggy, and I am not sure if that is good or not.

Uh, the first two answers sound very good. But I had to laugh because.....THERE ARE NO LIFTERS ON YOUR BIKE!!!!!! It has overheads cams. You may hear a noise but if its lifters the noise is not from the Honda. Valves maybe?

basic motorcycle know-how that every rider should know:

these guys do a decent job. it is a Kawi specific website, but engines are, for the most part, fairly basic and the same overall(minor differences)

hope you find what you need

most of the time, it is not the lifters but the valves themselves that need adjustment. your owner's manual should have all the specs you need, it may be under your seat. some companies put it on a sticker incase the owner's manual gets destroyed.

Remove the valve cover.
Piston at TDC
Loosen the lock nut.
Turn the adjuster screw.
You'll need a shop manual to get the valve clearance specs.
Purchase a shop manual before they go out of print.
