I need to change my fuel filter, so someone told me that I need to depressurize the system first by turning the car on and pulling the fuse that controls fuel injection.

Im looking at the manual and it has all the fuses listed and what they are for, but nothing says fuel injection. Would it be under some other name.

There's one about a flash to pass relay (2 actually). Theres a solenoid one. Those are basically a couple of the ones that I don't know what they control. Anyway, could it be one of those? Any help is good help. Thanks

My windsheild is constantly fogging up, and it has lots of black dust and larger particles on it. My heater core is new, so I know it is not that.

I need to replace the fuel filter on my car. I have nobody to ask how to do it. I found it on the underside of my car and I have a new one, but before I take the old one off I don't know if there is anything I must do. What will happen when I take the old one off, will all the gas leak out, is there a way to stop it? I just dont know, any help would make my day brighter. Thanks

Some clown put a vinyl adhesive sticker (a big one) on my hood at a concert last night (06' Acura TL). I peeled it off today (in the heat..not smart), but the glue is still on the paint. Any suggestions on how to remove it without ruining the finish?

My '04 Civic LX Sedan's OEM tire size is 195/60-15.
I like these wheels:
http://www.rotawheels.com/p45r.php
http://www.rotawheels.com/grid.php

I'm thinking of going P45R 18 x 9.5 +30 4h x 114.3 in the rear, and P45R 18 x 8 +? 4h x 114.3 in the front. What would be the effects of different width tires as far as performance? I'd go 9.5 width in the front as well, but would it interfere with the turn radius of my car?

Or should I just simplify it and go with the Grid 17 x 7.5 +40/+45 4h x 114.3 on all 4?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I got into a car accident the other day and had quite a bit of asthetic damage. I was wondering whether or not a body shop would be willing to put on parts that I have from my parts car. For example, if I have a bumper, will a body shop put that part on for me. I really don't want to have to get new parts for this car.....please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

**Question, will body shops use your parts (non-mechanical) if you ask them to?**

Thanks. :)

95 dodge avenger es 2.5l V6. I changed the abs hydraulic pump but because the nuts were too thighten I had to cut the lines off and after I double flared them and connected them, they are still leaking (between the nut and the line). I made the flare with the right tool several times but I don't know what I'm missing. I never had such a hard time with my car. Those who don't have experience, please don't answer telling me to take my car to a repair shop (I already know that choice). I'm looking for the answer of an experienced brake worker. The lines that leak are the ones that go to the wheels not the two ones that connect the master cylinder with the abs pump.

I'm told that I can't put a negative offset with my FWD 2004 civic. Why is this, or can I? I would think it would just push the wheels outward, but would this reduce my turning radius?

Also, can someone tell me the offset of OEM wheels for my 2004 Civic LX Sedan? I looked, but couldn't find it on the tires.

What is the difference between the fuel pump on a 2 door Blazer vs. a 4 door for the 2000 model. I noticed the part numbers are different and so is the price...the 4 door is $80 cheaper.

I took a 2000 Chrysler cirrus in to get back brakes which I'm pretty sure the back brakes had never been serviced and there were a bunch of problems with it all legit things that needed to be replaced.

The thing is on the bill they charged me what seems like a lot to replace brake drums, I was just curious what is the most you would expect to pay to replace brake drums even if they were ripping you off slightly.

I'm sure glad the 1997 Dodge Caravan Chrysler 3.0 V6 was designed with maintenance in mind. Is there any other way, besides moving the engine back, other than removing the power steering pump, to get the motor mount bracket assembly off so you can get to the timing belt covers? What about the power steering pump pulley? Can it be removed?

The other day, I was sitting at a redlight. When I went to go (as the engine speed increased) I noticed my lights got brighter. The engine also ran rougher/idled low.I figured maybe these two "deals" are related. So, after I "geeked up" the idlespeed I , with motor running (with a fluke digital multi meter) checked the voltage across the battery terminals. I was reading 14 volts. Is this acceptable?

If my motor was running to low of a speed, would that make my lights go brighter when the engine increases?

what does this sound like?
