What is the difference between the fuel pump on a 2 door Blazer vs. a 4 door for the 2000 model. I noticed the part numbers are different and so is the price...the 4 door is $80 cheaper.

Two door model has a rear mounted fuel tank(behind the rear axle between the frame rails), four door model is a side mount tank(drivers side inside frame rail). The rear mounted tank is more difficult to remove(more labor time), and the fuel pump modules are not interchangeable.

that's a discomfort interior the butt no remember what every physique says. The pump is interior the gas tank, so the gas tank must be dropped out and there is often something else interior the way. that's enormously lots the toughest section. Getting the clamp ring out to eliminate the pump isn't person-friendly each and every so often the two.

I would guess it's because the fuel tanks are different ,thus the fuel pump assembly is made different>

One tank I deeper I belive the 2door. Dont try to be cheap I know its an expensive part but dont be cheap.

4door is a hotter part number is the only reason it's cheaper.
