i have a friend who wants to sell me his wreck accord for $250...... the front end is damage, radiator, hood and right fender, other than that the engine is alright, car looks nice... clean interior and brand new tires. Air bag is not out at all. I was gonna buy it and part it out to sell.... or fix it to drive it or fix it to sell. Don't know what to do. What do you think i should do?

ok, i have a 97 nissan pathfinder, i just changed the brake caliper on the front passangers side but when i press the brakes it feels spongy and drops to the floor and you have to press on it for about 5 seconds for the car to fully stop at like 2 mph, i checked all wheels and theres no brake fluid leak, i checked the master cylinder, and theres no leaks anywhere around it, so i figured there must be air int he brakes, so i did the old one person pumps the brakes while i loosen the cable so the air can escape, i did that and the brakes still feel spongy and sink to the floor? what should i do, is there maybe still air in my brakes or what?

PS before i put on the new cylinder, my car was without a cyilinder for 3 months and the cable wasnt connected to anything so im figuring so much air has gotten in the brake system that ill need a professional to get it all out?

I bought a new low-flow shower head because we are having a drought and the mounting is not compatible with the old ball shaped end on the old shower arm. So I need to get a new one with a threaded end.

How do you remove the old one and install the new one? I can't remove the ball on the old arm, it looks like it was molded that way.

I used to get 36 mpg and my husband got 40 out of it!
The last time I bought a brand new car, it was a Kia Sephia. I think it about 1999 or so. The best I ever got out of it was 27 mpg! Yeah, I know 27 is nice especially with gas prices now a days, but what happened? Did the 'powers that be' do something to the engine of cars?

I have a 2004 Mazda 3 with a factory 6-disc changer. There is a CD stuck inside the changer, it wont even try to spit it out and I can't hear the motor trying either. I've tried taking out the radio fuse to reset but that didn't work. I tried using tweezers, but the slot is so narrow that the smallest tweezers automatically close up as soon as you slide it in the slot (meaning I can't get a grip on the CD - I can just lift up and push down on the CD a little). I have a really long & thin nail file that I've been sliding around in there, trying to get it out but nothing happens and it gets frustrating after hours of fidgeting. I have no idea of how to take it apart and I don't want to damage anything, how do I remove the CD without having to take it to the dealership? The warranty has expired, and I know it will cost big $$. Is there some kind of tool that I could get a grip on the CD with? All the tweezers I see in the stores are too big and they won't fit properly.

3 diagnostic tests from autozone said that my o2 sensor or cat converter needed replaced. Car was stalling after extended driving and getting bad gas mileage (and running loud).

I took it to the garage and paid $50 to have it checked out. They said a wire was loose w/some fuse which caused 1 of my cylinders to not work. (does that even make sense???)

Anyway, I knew that it was something else and now my check engine light is on again. Ask for a refund, credit or what?

I clicked the help button but I'm still confused as to why I've reached my "daily limit."

neither are recommended for use on plastics butboth appear to work on metalic parts. also neither have any lubrication properties....this is a good question for both the firearm owners and the backyard mechanics to argue over.

When you drive up to the gas station
and there's (4) pumps to choose from
REG, PLUS, SUPER, and Diesel
is the plus and super considered UNLEADED?
[there wasn't a label that said so, however all stations here had the same thing]
So I asked some guy and he said yes [he was foreign but spoke English, so I trusted he was right and put 18$ in the tank]
Now I'm at home stranded because the "battery light" came on this car [my husbands]

PLEASE HELP
[and please no mean answers, I was just in an accident because of a deer at night, don't need sympathy just no sarcastic answers I'm gonna get yelled at as it is I bet and don't know how to resolve this b4 he gets home, + I have to take a taxi to my other job :-(
thanks
