i lost my 2000 accord transmission dipstick, i think it was one of the valvoline guys that took it out and never put it back in, what's the best way to get one at the cheapest cost in a timely manner (under a month)

Junk yard is a good choice. Dip sticks don't wear out. A used dip stick can be just as good a new dip stick.

=== BUT ===

It is very important that you get the CORRECT dipstick. Wrong dipstick may even fit but it will give you wrong indication of the level. Check out the dealer price. It may not be that expensive.

A junk yard, or go to the dealer, and have him order one.
