I beleve the Spectra's rotors are attached with screws, so to remove the rotors you'll need a good philips screw driver.

Number one, and the most important in my opinion are safety jack stands. You can't work under a car safely without them. You will pay at least $25 for a pair at a price club like Sams or Costcos, but a professional automotive parts store will charge much more. This assumes you don't have a professional garage and car lift to do service work at. You also might need a "1/2 inch drive breaker bar" to leverage the caliper bolts loose. Also, the calipers have to be pushed back to allow the new thicker pads to fit the calipers, and the tool is shown below for both front and rear caliper pad replacements.
