I got Accord 97 Special Edition, changed Tharmostat and Rad switch 3/4 months back as I had over heating issues in engine because fan was not kicking in,since then working fine and fan kicked in proper time, just day before yesterday I drove 45 minutes straight in highway and stopped in a gas station and noticed my temp gauge is slightly up almost touching mid point, outside temp was 12 Degree Celcius(54 F) ,I turned off engine, fill up my tank,re-started,then it went down, later on I keep my engine on, and noticed fan kicked in and temp gauge was between 1/2 and 1/4 which is normal, checked coolant,it was ok.Later on didn't get any chance to drive for longer period of time,as my office is only 15 minutes drive from home.Do I need to concern abt this issue?

We just bought a scratch and dent dryer, (brand new) and have had problems with it drying a full load, without putting it thru 2 dryer cycles. Store owner said to unhook hose to wall and see if it'll dry if it's unhooked. Worked like a button. He said that the problem is the vent is clogged. We tried to use a snake on it....and checked both openings (inside & out) for lint. Then called our apts. They supposedly checked the vent, and fixed. Well, we are still having problems. Store owner brought over a brand new dryer, and said if this doesnt work, you know it's the vent, still. So it doesnt work........Do we need to call the apartments again to clean the vent out????????
I am sure it's not the dryer, as it WILL DRY A LOAD PERFECTLY, unhooked from the wall.

Yesterday there was a puddle of what looked like radiator fluid under my truck. It was neon green. My dad came to check it out and he said it was fine, but to keep an eye on the temperature. When I drove it yesterday it seemed like something was going on with the condensation and the air conditioner. It looked like white smoke but it smelt funny too. It's a 99 F-150 w/ 185k miles on it! Is it low on freon/coolent or could that puddle under my truck have really been mine and I have a leak? I've never had a problem with condensation/white smoke in the air conditioner until I saw the puddle. If anyone has any ideas what I could do or what might be happening it would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know!!!! Thanks so much and have a wonderful day! Also Thanks to the two that already answered my last question :)

Since we're starting to get into cold weather I'm wondering if it's a good idea to let my car's engine warm up before I start driving it. Or if it's ok to just drive it cold.

I have a 2007 3 series bmw, and the left tire has to have air pumped into it once or twice a weak, and then it is good for about 5 days, then i have to do it again. I'm assuming this is a slow leak, and the tires are 400-500 dollars each, i think. I need to know if i'm able to fix this slow leak any other way. I really want to avoid buying a new tire if i can, since it is such a slow leak, nothing bad. Thanks!!

My car has been leaking oil like crazy and there are large oil marks on the driveway. The oil light is of course on and the car temp gauge on the dash points to hot , also the steering is acting strangely and there is a smell of what reminds me of de icing fluid kind of almost sweet smelling, the steering sounds as if it is whining. Plus a friend told me that the back brakes are on their last legs. My car is older, a 1994 Toyota 4 cylinder Camry with a beautiful body and interior. it is an automatic transmission as well. I'm wondering if there is anyone that can give a sort of ball park idea on how much it would cost to fix all of these problems with the car. I can't buy a new car but I want to fix this one and run it till it dies a natural death someday. It has always driven beautifully, it is ingreat interior and exterior shape and has NEVER given me any major problems till now. From the high end to the low end , how much would fixing cost?

Is it possible (and viable) to have the airconditioning system taken out of my dead Ford Laser and put in my Toyota Lightace van? If so, is this a very expensive operation? The van does not have aircon installed at all, so repairing it is not an option. The Laser's aircon is fantastic, but the rest of the car useless.

I have a 1996 Toyota 4Runner that has been sitting, not driven for almost 4 years. Six months ago we moved and when we went to start it, it was dead. We jump started it, let it run for about 20 minutes and then parked it. A few days later we moved and before we left, we started it, it started fine. We got to our new place and parked it. Didn't re-start it for another 3 months, tried again, battery dead. Bought brand new battery, put it in, worked fine. Parked it for another 3 months without starting it. Now, we are going to start driving it because we live in the mountains where it snows and want to get it ready for the winter. Went to start it today with the new battery, didn't start so we jump started it. Let it run for 20 minutes, moved it and turned it off. I tried to re-start it as soon as I turned it off and all I heard were clicks. No lights, no interior lights and no radio. Does this sound like battery or alternator?

i just threw a Nathan p3 train horn in my car, with a craftsman 5 gallon 150psi air tank to power it.
but the thing is, i cant fill the tank with the compressor i have, and all the gas station compressors stop at 80 psi.
i have a very old 175 psi portable 12volt car outlet compressor but it wont even start to fill the tank.

will this work on filling the tank

This car has a rebuilt motor with about 7000 miles on it a new water pump, radiator, and I even swaped the 195 thermo to a 180 thermo. I replaced the lower air dam and yes the fan is working fine, still runs hot on hot days mostly when I run the A\C. Anyone who can tell me something I can do to fix the problem that don't involve a 400 dollar performancer radiator?
By the way the A\C does not run a head pressure!
