i just threw a Nathan p3 train horn in my car, with a craftsman 5 gallon 150psi air tank to power it.
but the thing is, i cant fill the tank with the compressor i have, and all the gas station compressors stop at 80 psi.
i have a very old 175 psi portable 12volt car outlet compressor but it wont even start to fill the tank.

will this work on filling the tank

i don't care about checking the stupid laws on train horns if its illegal or not!
you are doing something illegal too
you are in contact with a minor (17) online!

Your craftsman compressor should do the work , maybe is not working right or you're setting the regulator to high, you must set it at 100psi in order to get more CFM's , keep in mind that these horns need a lot of cfm's to work properly not too much pressure. you can find a lot of info for an instalation in a car, with these people they have everything.

No this is no longer dry and in case you haven't any longer have been given a water capture on the air too line the water will shorten air gadget existence. purely some moisture is condensed because of compression no longer all. The air interior the air tank on the compressor is the same because of the fact the air you're respiratory purely compressed to a rigidity above atmospheric rigidity, and this is a tad much less humid yet no longer plenty.

first of all why the HELL do you even want a train horn in your car are drivers in your area that bad that they need the crap scared out of with that thing? Second of all you should probably check your local and state laws i would be willing to bet that thing ain't even legal on your ride. But,,,,,,,, if u really must have it , any comp. should fill the tank as long it is capable of producing the pressure your looking for. As far as how fast it fills depends on CFM (cubic feet / minute) higher the CFM rating the faster it will "pump you up"

you might have to go to a auto shop and see if they could fill it.
