Its a 2006 Element and the engine blew up.... no damage to the vehicle cosmetically..... but the entire engine is being replaced/rebuilt. Will this effect the value, and if so, by how much...????

I get nothing from inside, outside or with keys. Key won't even turn! I can't pull up the locking lever inside.

Our neighborhood was vandalized and they got my sister' car, they spray painted in black her front windows, how do we take that out. Tried going to Auto parts store, but they had no idea, and sold us some type of wax, which didnt help

The car is a 1988 Mercedes Benz 300SE. One of the functions this fuse controls is the driver seat adjustment. Could I use a larger fuse to get the seat adjusted or would this damage something else?

So the car doesn't seem to act up until its up to temp. When you are going down the road, if you get on it at all it jumps a couple times and looses power (in the non electrical sense) and the tach plumits to 0, the car dies. All electrical systems on the car don't hiccup at all, the car just dies out. It usually takes at the very least 10 minutes to restart and it runs fine again until ran hard. Thats the ONLY consistancy I've found, that and it does it right around were it needs to shift, high rpm. So far I've changed both coil packs, the ignition control modul, plugs and wires. I've had a couple guys say crank sensor or ignition switch. I'm out of ideas.....

I was putting new rotors and pads on the front of my taurus and notice the rubber boot that is behind there with a clamp on it has a whole in it and lube/grease is coming out. Does anyone know what the exact name for this is so that I can get the part?

Hi there, I recently got a new battery put in my 2001 Pontiac Grand Am car and of course, the theft lock is on now. I don't have the code to get the lock off. I called the previous owner who didn't know. I called a dealership who stated that I would have to bring it in and they could get the master code from GM. Can't I just call them for the code or is there a master code? I just don't want to have to pay to fix my radio that I didn't break!! Thanks :)

my radio started going crazy it would some times turn on if it was on then my windshield wipers and dome lights would not work. If i put my wipers on or dome lights then my radio would not work. i checked all fuses they were all good so i tested the fuse panel with a tester light and four fuses are not getting power I also turned on my emergency flashers and the will not turn off so i took the fuse out now i have no blinkers help me please

I have a 1972 Pontiac. When I put the car in drive it revs up but doesn't move it just crawls forward. Not sure if it's something I can fix or if I need to get a new transmission. Thanks for your help.

all the fuses and fuse links are good as well as the fuel shutoff switch i bought a new relay as well but still can't get power when i turn the key on only when i jump a wire under the hood then i hear the pump run,could i have an ignition problem?this is a 1988 ford bronco2 2.9 liter fuel injected

Ever since I bought my 2006 Jeep Wrangler last year, I have noticed black soot around the end of my tailpipe. Does this have to do with the spark plugs? Would this be covered under the warranty?

The Air Conditioner clutch on my Air Conditoner compressor keeps turning. (Of course I know its not supposed to keep turning its supposed to stay still until the A/C is engaged.)
Penetrating oil has been no help.
When the clutch starts turning this of course puts pressure on the main serpentine belt.

Any Suggestions on how to fix this?

I don't want to put another compressor on the car & I don't care if the A/C works or not.

As for recharging the system its a no go in canada unless of course you find a mechanic willing to do it ;)

Ok, so I've tried WD40 on the outside, and I crawled into the trunk from the back seet and sprayed the inside. I felt around for the inside release, but didn't find one. The darn lock wont move. What can I do besides going to the dealer to get some high priced charge for opening it?

One day they worked one day not. Only the drivers side back window works. All others died. Some mentioned to me about a window relay switch... any ideas where it might be, I dont have a manual.

The gauge will raise almost all the way and then once I've been driving for a bit, it will start to slowly go back down. Turning on my heat doesn't seem to really help anything. If my car sits for more than a few seconds, it will start to rise again. I decided to check my radiator but for some reason, neither me or any of the guys I work with could find the radiator cap?? I'm going to have someone look at it next week but if anyone had any ideas of what might be causing it...
