Anyone watch Trucks on Spike today, Sunday June 10, 2007? They showed how to remove rust?

using a battery charger and some kind of chemical mixed with water in a tub. I missed what chemical it was.

Big plastic tank.
Arm & Hammer powdered "washing soda".
1 table spoon to each pint of water.
2 amp on charger 12 volt.
Negative cable to rusty part.
Pos. cable to steel rod imersed in liquid.
Wait a day or two.
