if the fuse blows as soon as it makes contact there is a dead short in the circuit. putting in a larger fuse won't help if it does not blow immediatly it will cause the wires involved with the short to heat up and could cause a fire. you need to trace the wires for the functions of the fuse and see if there are any bare spots that might be touching bare metal and repair the short then put in a new fuse and things should work fine.

You have a dead short somewhere in the circuit. Do not add a heavier fuse as this might allow the circuit to overheat to the extent that it caused a fire. Remember ricky nelson and how he died? his private plane was an older dc 3 which used circuit bars instead of fuses, it got cold and when the heater was turned on, it popped the circuit. The co pilot kept re setting the circuit bar and finally just held it in. The circuit overheated, started a fire and killed all on board except the pilot and co pilot. Placing a heavier fuse or by passing the fuse in your car could very well cause the same type of fire.

Thefuse blows because of a short to ground in a component or wire. The problem must be fixed. Dont use a larger fuse because of the risk or burning up the wiring on that circuit.

something is causing power to go to ground a larger fues could cause wire melt down un plug the wire connector from motor at the seat reinstall fuse if it dosent blow you probly have a bad motor if it still blows check the wires going from seat to fuse block

no if you use a larger fuse on it this will cause it to over heat the wires on it,and maybe burn something up ,you,ll have to find out why its doing this, usually on a power seat when they do this they have a bad motor in them and its drawing too many amps, you,ll either have to replace the track drive system or find out if anything is hung up in it that could cause this to happen, good luck with it hope this helps.

NO!. using a bigger fuse, then what it is called for,can catch your car on fire.whats wrong is that you have a bare hot wire touching metal somewhere and shorting it out.
