Its a V6, how many quarts to fill it? With filter change. I know dumb question but everyone says either 6 or 6.5 and i wanna know for sure cause i can't see on the dipstick lol!

I have an 03 Saturn ION2 and for the past week, the alarm has been going off for no apparent reason. Not only that, but for those who have an ION like me, you know that when you press your remote thing on your keychain, you press it once to lock all the doors and then press it again and you hear a 'honk'. It wont work like that anymore. Not only that, when I start to drive, the locks dont lock until a later time rather right when I begin to drive. It does it at random times. I now have to manually lock the doors to keep the alarm from going off. So does anyone out there know exactly what is the matter with it? I've only had it for 4 years and it already has over 100,000 miles on it. Thanks everyone.

Car starts and runs for 20 seconds then stalls. Already installed new fuel pump/filter, and just installed new PCM. Still same problem.

I Have a 1997 Toyota Camry and just about a week ago the check engine light came on. I just got a tune up and I don't see any problems. I have to get an inspection sticker in 2 days. Is there any way to disconnect it or anything? I just don't have the money to get it hooked up to a diagnostic.

Well I just bought a 1988 Honda Prelude Si 4WS... Standard... Its need a new clutch but thats beside the problem.... It wont stay on... It turns over... *turned the car on* it high rpm and then... *car dies*... it dies... It feels like a stall... I check the cold air intake to see if it has any leaks but it doesnt seem to be that... we do you think?

if i drive little while i dont see no smoke, but i drove on highway 10 minute and i can see smoke was coming out the engine,it usally come where the wire plugs are on the engine,wondering what is worng with it,any idea,thanks

My headlight has been burnt out for quite some time and I just got pulled over and given a warning. I purchased the headlight, but have no idea how to put it in. I am looking for a website with step by step instructions, and possibly illistrations. I need to change it today, mostly because the same officer sits in the parking lot across from my job and he said he's seen me for a long time, and I don't want him to see me again tonight! It is a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. Thank you for any help that you can offer!!!

i started driving my brother's car in feb..at that time,the mileage was abour 74200 km..my bro told me i should change the engine oil when it reach 74400 km..but the engine oil started leaking before i reached that mileage.so i send it for repair..the mileage now is about 74500km..i'm wondering..when should i next change it?

I let it set with the cola for a few days and the battery was completely gone. What is worse is the cola acid has mixed with the battery acid to make a super acid compound now. This ate through my entire car and driveway. There is now a deep hole.

I dropped a rock down it but no sound back that it hit anything. I got a long rope and lowered it down with a weight tied to the end of it. I had to get more ropes and tie them off because I could not get to the end of this hole.

After exhausting my savings account buying lots of long ropes finally the rope starting tugging and pulling from me. I started pulling back eventually I could hear someone on the other end grunting as they were trying to pull against me.

I finally pulled this person out of the hole and it was a Chinese person. I can use a telescope and see the sky clear on the other side of the world.

What should I do about the hole and my new visitor?

hi, i just bought one of those measure and charge cans of 134a for my car. I charged the refrig to within the normal range and its cooling great. The problem i have now if at high idle about 1800rpm when the compressor cycles off i get a 3-4 second growing/howling noise then it goes away, it cycles back up again in a few seconds, runs fine then again when it cycles off i get the same noise, did i screw it up? any advise appreciated, Joey

2002 Hyundai XG350L with 47,000 miles. Very soft riding car with new Michelins installed 4 months ago. This noise just started a week ago. When going over a bump (most often a raised bump like a pavement blowup) the rear suspension is very noisy and hard riding. When the rear tires drop into a pothole or drop off there is little or no noise. Struts are not leaking. Everything looks good from an initial visual inspection. Car was 4-wheel aligned and the alignment just rechecked. I think I know what it is but I welcome feedback to confirm my suspicion.

I dropped off my newly bought car for the dealer to apply tint. The next day which was yesterday I picked it up after work. When I got home I notice many bubbles in the tint, about 30 per window in the size of the thickness of a straw. I called them today and they told me to give it 3 days to let the sun dry it up. I'm not sure if it's because they didn't do a good job or what? But with my last car I never had to wait for the bubbles to dry, I didn't have any to start with and that was in winter.

I left the car out in the sun this morning and at 2pm the bubbles still there.

Should I give it a couple of days more or go back to the dealer right away? I never expect them to mess up such a basic job.

I just bought a 1999 GMC Jimmy and i need help figuring out whats wrong with the a/c. I turn it on but the air isnt cool. The heater seems to be working fine. The previous owner has had it recharged before, but it only lasted 2 weeks and the mechanic said that there was no leaks. Just curious if anyone can tell me what could possibly be wrong and maybe how much it would cost to fix it.

I have a 1985 toyota supra and it was raining real bad the other night and my car was fine before the rain. When i left my house my car wasnt going into gears or at least thats what it felt like it was as if it was going into neutral i couldnt go very fast. It seemed to get better as the days went on but its not the same. What could this have been? my car shifts gears fine its just the problem when im driving its no kicking in.
