i started driving my brother's car in feb..at that time,the mileage was abour 74200 km..my bro told me i should change the engine oil when it reach 74400 km..but the engine oil started leaking before i reached that mileage.so i send it for repair..the mileage now is about 74500km..i'm wondering..when should i next change it?

it should be every 3000 miles (4828km)

u change it every 3000 miles or every 3 months whichever comes first.But u should check it a couple times a week and everyday if it has a leak or uses alot of oil.

I think you are asking not how often to change but if you should change it now? If so, you probably could go ahead and change it now. It really depends upon if the repair shop changed the oil at the time of the repair. If so, you don't need to change it now, if not, then it needs changing. You can look at the repair ticket to see if the oil was changed in the shop.

Change it every 3000 miles; not doing this can lead to some serious car problems.

Every 3,000 miles or every 3 months. Which ever comes first. Unless your using synthetic oil. Then every 7,000 to 10,000 miles

I change mine every 4,000. oil starts to break down at about 7,000 miles.
