Ok, long story kind of. I got a used car from a turd of a dealer. Within two weeks of the purchase of this vehicle , the engine had an oil leak, and not to long after, the engine locked up, and had to be replaced. Ok, so now, with the new engine in the car, it is starting to make the same kind of "grinding" noise when I push the gas, it made soon before it locked up with the old engine. And like before, sometimes when I hit the gas, the oil light flickers on then off.I KNOW for a fact that this is EXACTLY what happened just before the old engine locked up. I cant find any visible oil leaks, and the dipstick has NO oil reading at all. What is going on with my car? Where is my oil going? What is going on? Please advise before the engine locks up again. Like before, I have added a quart of oil. this JUST started happening today, so Ive only added one quart, to the engine that has roughly 1500 miles on it since the overhaul. Y is the same thing happening to a new engine?
