Well I just bought a 1988 Honda Prelude Si 4WS... Standard... Its need a new clutch but thats beside the problem.... It wont stay on... It turns over... *turned the car on* it high rpm and then... *car dies*... it dies... It feels like a stall... I check the cold air intake to see if it has any leaks but it doesnt seem to be that... we do you think?

It revs high because the choke is closed ie it is starving for gas, replace the fuel filter and see if that takes care of the problem also add some STP cleaner in case there is gunk in the fuel line

more information is needed, but given what i read from your question, i'd say that your idle speed control (crankshaft) is too low or you need to add a little HEET to your gas tank (if it only happens after a rainy day). the preludes aren't notorious for start/stop problems so i would venture to say your fix is probably quite inexpensive.

Maybe your car could use a new battery. Or something as simple as an oil change. You should take it to a shop and have someone look at it.

could be a whole crud load of things causing it.
you will need to give more information to get a real answer

such as what sound does it make
