i bought a 93 plymouth voyager, it ran great on the test drive,and runs great most of the time.but it sometimes as your driving along it acts like its running out of gas and stalls out,even though there is plenty of gas.sometimes ,if you wait a couple minutes ,it will drive fine again.other times it doesnt.the other morning it didnt ,so i had it towed to an auto shop,and for them it is running great .(i had the fuel filter changed after the first occurence)they say the fuel pump is working fine and cant guess what the problem is . the van has done this to me 5 times in the week since i bought ,and i bought it as is,the dealer did offer to pay half on repairs ,but wont pay until they find a definite problem,but it never stalls out when they are checking it and i dont want to drive it when im worried about it stalling out at anytime.any suggestions on what to tell the mechanics to check ,or has anybody had this happen and what was the problem?

there are plenty of garages and body shops go ask them and save some time and aggrivation with the stupid answers you will get here !

It has new plugs ,filters,& oil.It doesn't leak,smoke or dribble,the distributer cap and leads look OK, but the accelorater appears stuck when the car is first started.

Someone told me that their mechanic told them that they should turn off the AC before turning off their car. I disagree. Any one have a good explanation on why this should be done?

Anyone know of a SUREFIRE way to EASILY clean the dried, dead bugs off our van windshield? We use the windshield washing fluid with the bug stuff in it but it doesn't get them off. Even the high pressure spray at the carwash will NOT power them off without also using a squeege or something to scrub the glass with. We put 1200 to 1800 miles per week on the van so the windshield has to be washed each day.

I have been told that if you wax the windshield with the same wax you would use on the body of the van itself that it makes cleaning the glass easier. Anyone know if that does work? We are in Nebraska so between the constant winds & the summer heat the bugs really get baked onto the glass by the end of each run. Would appreciate any help with either commercial products or home remedies we can use. Thanks.

i have nissan pathfinder 1999 ok. and what happen was one time i lift the lights on for a while which made the the battery runs out dead. than i got caple and connected to the battery to anather car's battery, but what happen was the caples burn down. i replace the battery but still my car refuse to start? some body tell me tha what he called
'views" is burned. but i have no idea what views is?

My Freind Gave me a 1986 Toyota Trecel 4cylinder Carberated 1.5 lt and he started it last in Dec and not the stater does not do anything. the Idiot lights dim when you turn the key to the start postion but the stater does nothing! The fuel pumps run too! I did have to change a fuse in the car for the cabin but i dont thing that could be a issiue?

P.S I NEED TO GET IT TO START ARE THERE ANY OTHER WAYS TO START A AUTOMATIC WITH OUT PULLING ON THE CRANKSHAFT WITH A WRENCH!

I live in Wisconsin and I have a 1995 Honda Accord LX model. I flushed my radiator a year back. The radiator started leaking (minor leak along the rim) 3 weeks back. I stopped the leak using both 'JB weld' and 'Stop Leak'.

Everything was fine until last week. In the last 3 days (temperature outside was around 89 degrees) when I turned off my car, I noticed that the radiator fan was still on. My car temperature reading was ok. It stopped after 2 or 3 minutes. Is this bad?

Did I break the sensor or anything by using JB weld or stop leak? Is there an easy and cheap way to fix it? Pls let me know.

I have a 1993 Nissan Sentra and today my car began to shake quite a bit while I was idling. Also, I felt like I had lost a noticable amount of power while driving, but I'm not sure if this is just percieved or definite. Anyways, my initial reaction was that I lost a cylinder and this was unbalancing my engine, possibly through a broken injector? Does anyone have thoughts on what else this could be or if possibly I'm right? Or maybe also how to test my car myself? Thanks in advance.

I tried auto zone but there's only checks engine codes. Basicly I am looking for some way of getting the codes with out paying someone hate to bring it in and they give a line of spew and tell me it needs everything but the kitchen sink.

Normally, when I start the vehicle, the light turns on momentarily and then turns off. Now, though, it stays on. The brake light indicator isn't on though.

Doubt anyone would know, but I re-installed two front speakers and my sub a few days back. All wires were alreadyr an. However, since then, my wipers and AC doesnt work properly. Sometimes theyll work, most times not, so its not the fuse. Does anyone have an idea if it was something Ive done to cause this???
