We put new clutch, pressure plate, clutch master cylinder, and barrin. Clutch peddle still not hard to push and we have bleed.

I have a 2001 jeep grand cherokee laredo and i did a tune-up like about a year ago, well i got a check engine light, got it checked out and says #2 and #7 cylinders have misfire? could it be the coil? thats what the mechanic said it might be wasnt sure tho....

i have an 88 frod tarus i just got out of the car and white smoke started comming out from behind the engine and it smells like somethings burning, the anti-freeze has been very low for about three days, but i just filled it to the top five minutes ago,(all other liquids are filled up) because thats what i thought was causing the problem, because it was smoking yesterday when i got out the car, i have to be at a graduation in two hours that is 30 miles away, and i have no other ride, is this because of the low antifreeze? if it is, will it go away after some more antifreeze gets through the system? or is this a major problem and i should not drive it?( three questions) thankyou

my truck has a 300 6 cyl it has a hard time starting first thing in the morning but after that it starts fine also when i kick down on it, it seems to miss like its got a rev limiter on it but it dont ,otherwise it runs great

I am very knowledgeable with general vehicle maintenance but these new vehicles have tighter bolts that I cannot manage to remove am I doing something wrong? I am trying to replace my front rotors.

A while back I saw a guy who had actually done this;he was fueling up at a gas station.I imagine it's much the same as making a motorized go-cart but I don't know how to do that either.If you know of a starter site that would be awesome.Thanks!Joe

I have 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The car would not start so I jump started it. It worked for three days than the same thing happened so i jumped it again. (I Have done this 3 times so far). I hear the starter click when I turn the key, so im pretty sure that its not a bad starter. The battery is only 3 months old. I think it is an alternator problem. I don't want to replace the alt and then find out it wasnt the problem. How can I make sure? I would apreciate any information you can offer me.Thanks

My car was in dearlership possesion for warranty repairs and while parked on their lot was hit. They say another customer did it and their insurance should cover(they don't know which customer) They say they arent responsible. Plus I don't want the dents covered up by auto putty; I want the door replaced!! Am I unreasonable and can the dearlership legally end up not being responsible at all?

Where my brake is, some wires have fallen down that might be my brake "sensor" that can be dettached. When I leave it attached my brake lights stay on all the time. Even when the car is turned off. And when I dettach it, my brake lights don't work at all. I hate to take it to a garage and pay a ridiculous amount of money. Please Help!!!

I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T i have already replaced the transmission, and there is still a problem, when i accelerate into higher RPMs it tends to slip or tug back and doesnt go smooth what so ever i can watch my RPM needle drop and go back up many times when i am accelerating. Sometimes also when i put it in drive or reverse it jerks me into it, i thought it was the transmission but i got it replaced? maybe its bad.

I have a clog somewhere in my car's ac system. Im not sure if it a gas or an oil clog. A mechanic drained all the freon gas so right now my ac system has nothing in it.

Anyway, I was wondering if there is a product which could unclog my AC?

Also, I had a mechanic look at...So I am fairly sure it is not a leak. The AC ran well for a while...then all of a sudden the Low side pressure shot up. The mechanic said he suspects I have a clog from not using my AC all winter.

Can a lot of money be made in doing this? I realize that it depends on the car and the market, but could he make a nice profit?

What are some things we should take into consideration? Obviously the amount of money to spend to fix it, but are there other, less obvious things?

I just bought a selection pack of different sizes.... zinc plated hose clips for auto work.

Aren't they supposed to be able to change size.. tighten up?

I've loosened the screw but can't work out whatsoever how to get them to tighten up? If they do tighten up.. I'm wondering if I can get them back to normal size again after?

I want to keep a few sizes in my car incase problems with pipes/exhaust where a workable fix can be made ect.... whereas any mechanic of dealer (stealer) will prolly say.. "oh needs a £800 replacement mate".. but atm I stupidly can't work out how to use them.

Please advise ? :)

i keep trying to a few minutes and some catches or changes and the car starts. it is then fine all day and starts up first time all day. could it be the starter if it works all day and just not in the morning or could it be the battery. i plan to have the battery tested.

I went to get my oil changed and tires rotated the other day. The guy checked my tires and said b/c of some of the treds being different colors than the others, I needed to get them ______ ? I can't remember what he told me. I'm not sure if it was balanced or something else? But whatever it is, I need to get it done before a road trip this Saturday. Help!

1991 ford e 350 van won't start. i have spark, don't have gas, fuel pump is good but has no electric to it. it is not the fuel shut off switch. i have used auxillary power to run pump but it still will not start.
