I'm not talking about normal paint here. I'm talking about chameleon paint - the kind that changes colors at different angles (a.k.a. candy paint). The stuff that looks green at one angle, then purple at another. I think it's like 200-400 bucks for a pint of it. (I don't want to know personally, my brother does)

Call around to custom shops in your area...I'm thinking around 5000.00 for a good color change job with chameleon paint which is triple stage paint process instead of the normal two stage for base and clearcoat. Includes painting door jambs and underhood. The paint is very expensive and is most of the cost.

depends on the quality of the paint job...

It costs $300 to $500 for a cheap paint job... using single color paint.

The cheaper chameleon paints are only about twice as much per gallon... and the majority of the cost of a paint job is LABOR.

So figure $350 to $600 for a cheap job.

A good job with single color can cost over $3500... With chameleon.. $4000

You get what you pay for, you could spend $300 and have a bad paint job that will peel in a year, or you could spend up to $3000 to get a profession out-of-the-factory paint job.
