HELP!!!! My son accidentally spilled some bleach on the back seat of my car and now my car smells like bleach. I'm using air freshners to mask the smell, but is there a way to get rid of the odor all together or is time my only option?

I have changed the wastegate control valve but to no avail, but the car only seems to go into limp mode when given full load such as climbing a hill on the motorway. Any suggestions would be really appreciated as it seems to be beating me!

What's the best way to deal with light scratches on the hood of a car? I have a 2005 black Saturn Ion, and I like to keep that nice black glow to it. Unfortunately, while trying to remove some hard ice from the hood, it got a little scratched from the plastic ice scraper. They're very mild scratches, only visible in the light, and it doesn't break the surface coat. They're just little waxy-looking lines on the hood. I've heard of buffing or waxing out scratches... how does that work? Do I need a buffing machine or is there an easier way?

What should i do. otherwise, the truck is in perfect condition. what are my options at this point.

on my truck the oil pan seal is the rear main seal. i don't want to trash the truck, however, i don't know how much damage was done to the enguine (it was without oil for a little while). i have put alot of time and money into the truck.

should i count my losses or fix what i have got?

3 foot of a previously damaged lamp post was left bent at a 45 degree angle witout a cordon, but it had been spray painted yellow.
On leaving the car park i executed a tight left hand turn in which the section of lamp post was in my blind spot, approximatly half way throuhg the manouver my passanger side rear door caught the post and left my car with a heavily dented door and a smashed wheel arch.
I'm wanting to know if there is anyone who knows who is responsible for leaving the lamp post in that condition, and what legal advice is there available

I think its the lifters but what concerns me is the white substance under the oil fill cap. I think its condensation of oil and water. Is it possible the lifters are not getting enough oil to them? My oil change guy did not seem to worried, but I think he rode the short bus in his day. Wrenchers please respond.

OK well I was driving down the road and my car tells me to check the engine then about 5 minutes later it starts to smoke a lot. I get home and look under the hood. My coolant is completely gone and my radiator is drain. So what does one do, I refilled it all. Drove it fine for a few hours then the same thing happens. So this it I fill it up and watch underneath. There seems to be a crack or a leak somewhere where coolant is getting out. I think it is my radiator, it could be cracked. Or also I might have a bust hose somewhere? If anyone can tell me what you think it is and the best way to repair that would be great. I got radiator sealant that you have to drain and redrain, but i dont know if it is my radiator for sure. Any help?

I put the car up in the air and nothing looks bent except the rim. I put the spare on and no more shake in the wheel but the alignment is way off (pulls hard to left) and visually appears to be towed in (angled in) about an inch or so. When I put it on stands and held a bar next to the half shaft that was spinning (CV joint 1/2" bar) it has a little out of roundness to it...is that normal? The tie rods visually look fine. Will a new rim and aligment solve this? The lower control arm also looks fine.
