Man you are just like the Energizer Bunny with so many variations on the same question. Really, you should just try and ask everything all at once so people who care enough to give a correct answer can find all your questions.

I hope by now you have burried the idea of using your buddies Civic tires. It sounds like you have. They just won't work very well.

As for replacement wheels, stay with the same offset - 38mm. If you are looking for a 15-inch wheel/tire combination then a 15x6 to 15x7 wheel with a P195/55R15 86V tire would be ideal. Run the same air pressures as the stock tire - 30 psi front and rear.

In a 16-inch a 16x6.5-16x7 would be ideal (I don't think you will find a 16x6) with a 205/45R16 83V (or 83Y or 83W) tire and increase the air pressure to 32 psi front and rear as this tire has a lower load-carrying capacity than the stock 14-inch tire and thus needs a little more air.

www.tirerack.com has a nice selection of wheels to fit any budget and can even show you what they look like on the car before you buy.

A rim shop would be able to tell you what you need before selling you rims.
