Well,

I don't know what a rust who;e is, but it will need sheet metal work, and you can't do have the skills to do it. It will cost you thousands for a good fix.

Depending upon the year and make of the car, "patch panels" are available to fix rusted out panels. The only drawback is, you need to have access to a welder and be proficient enough with the welding equipment to replace the panel by welding it in, then have the necessary experience to finish the weld, use Bondo, lead or fiberglass to finish, and then have access to and/or knowledge of paint spraying equipment to prime and then paint the repaired panel.

If the vehicle is not one of those for which patch panels are readily available, then even more work is involved as a larger piece of the affected panel must be cut away and a replacement formed and installed. In some cases there are replacemnet fenders, if the hole is in the front fender and/or hoods, if the hole is in the hood, which may be purchased and installed.

What I'm saying is, you'd better have a professional body and fender repairman check out the vehicle and ask for an estimate; then decide if you think it's worthwhile to have the "who'e" fixed and the rust repaired! If you have to ask, you probably aren't able to do it yourownself!

You'll need to pay a pro to fix this. Rust holes are not for the amateur - without the skill level necessary, you'll make a mess of it, then have to pay more for someone to fix your mess, plus fix the rust.

I do most of my own repairs, but rust is one I leave to the professionals. Good luck!
