Hi, my reverse lights arent working on my tigra. I am certain it is the switch on the gearbox that has something to do with it. Trouble is, i cant seem to find this switch. Can anyone tell me where abouts on the gearbox it is? Thanks

I am driving an auto transmission car. But I am not sure of the controls. There is a small button on the handle when pressed "A/D OFF" is displayed on the screen. Nearly for all practical purposes I put into D and drive. But when should I use the other functions. Suppose I am overtaking and need more torque how do I make it manual?

I was in the store today and saw these bottles of concentrated fuel injector cleaner. They claim to resolve some problems such as "lost power"/ poor acceleration which I sometimes feel.

Is it ok to use these in my car- for some reason I thought I remember someone telling me not to use this kind of stuff in my turbo diesel mercedes, but I could easily be mistaken.

thanks..

For the last 3 months I've been expecting this daily driver to croak, but it keeps on running min. 10 mi/day. It leaks about a cylinder's worth of coolant overnight which I replace often, other than topping the oil regularly it's seemingly unaffected by the obvious comingling of crankcase and radiator fluids. Within the next month or two, local temps will surpass 100F. on a regular basis. Will this likely spell death to this sturdy little motor? What can I do to prolong its tenuous lifespan? How can it still function w/o the classic whitesmoke out the tailpipe and seized bearings? There is substantial grayish goop in the radiator that matches the color of the dipstick's sample, so I assume the head integrity's compromised...

Even from a cool engine the fan will cut in, run for about 20 seconds, and then cut out. After about 1 minute the cycle starts again. It doesn't make any difference to the length of time the fan runs for, no matter what the engine temperature is. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

I parked my car for 10 mins with the electricity on (no headlights), then the car just wouldn't start. Not a battery problem I think, because there was no cranking sound at all. When I turn the key, there was just one loud "click" sound (from somewhere behind the engine). I also checked the fuse for the starter, but no luck there.
And the lucky part is that I parked my car at home!

I would like to find someone who may be interested in purchasing this car for parts. It has sat outside for 25+ years and is in non-restoreable condition. Motor, tranny, and some body parts may still be useable. Engine was drained of coolant and may be salvageable, as well as many other parts. Any ideas where I can find a buyer? Any help appreciated. I'd hate to have it hauled off, especially when I am sure there is somebody out there who may be looking for parts for this model for a restoration.
