Hi, my reverse lights arent working on my tigra. I am certain it is the switch on the gearbox that has something to do with it. Trouble is, i cant seem to find this switch. Can anyone tell me where abouts on the gearbox it is? Thanks

hi there, ill be a bit more presice,
open your bonnet, standing at the front of the car on thepassengers side, you'll have the battery in front of you, if you look straight down towards the gearbox (underneath the battery), at the front of the gearbox you will see a wire going to the gearbox, this is your reverse light switch, they are very common to go, best thing to do to make sure it is the wire, turn the ignition on, unplug the reverse light switch (there will be like a hook on the side of the plug/clip to the switch) and get a bit of wire to join the two wires together, if the reverse lights come on you know its the switch, if they dont then you know that theres no point replacing the switch, the fault will probably be at the rear light clusters i.e bulbs, hope this helps Gary
