Like bhs2pain said a Vacuum leak- alot of times its under the hood - hose either collapsed-discinerated-or fell off ! Fords plastic hoses fall apart the small white ones under the hood on the passenger side-& canisters would rust..GM cars usally would have collasped hoses.Ram trucks plastic hose the runs clear across from the right side 2 the left side & was eaten up by Battery acid etc.etc.

I'll give you a stupid answer:

Make sure you have the air-conditioning knob put to the right setting. There is a function of air conditioning systems on the knob itself that specifies you want air ONLY from the defrost, and floor.

If this is not the case, I would take it in for service since some hose may have jiggled loose inside.

Good Luck!!!

sounds like the vacuum switch on the dashboard, autoparts stores have some of the switches available, give them a call and find out if yours is and a shop would only charge an hours labor or so but remember this is only a guess. but thats what it sounds like from your description because it takes vacuum to change the vents and when there all working it sounds like its sending vacuum to all the vacuum pods

That's weird. Maybe something is plugged? I've never heard of no a/c on dash vents.

I'd have a mechanic check it.

You probably have a vacuum leak, either behind the a/c control panel or at the blower box where the diverter is located. You could also have a bad vacuum canister or a leak at the canister
