But if it's a 4.4 Liter engine; isn't it supposed to use around 4 1/2 quarts of oil?

So you start up your car and the pedal is not firm,you got new brakes (front and back) and you have to pump your brakes before pulling off so your pedal becomes stiff enough so you at least know you have means to stop if needed.Thats my problem...I also need my radius arm bushing replaced could that play a role in it?Or could it be something else and what?

I'm putting a gen 1 350 w/carb in a '95 Camaro that had a bad v6. I am also tearing out the OBD and any other related electronic junk. I just wondered if I could get a kit that would make the trans work without the OBD, or do I need to sell it and buy a TH700?

The bulb(s) in the dome light do not come on when we open the doors, so we bought bulbs for it. However, now we can't figure out how to get the plastic part off the dome light to change the bulb. Is there a special way to do this, or do you just pry it off and try not to break the plastic cover or anything else?

My car stalled a week ago and wouldn't start. The following morning, it started right up and we drove it all week without any problems. Today, on the highway, it stalled again while in traffic and wouldn't start (we had to be towed). It's almost as if it's not getting gas or something. Does anyone have any ideas what might be happening?

what can i do without draining my gas tank to be able to use this fuel.is there anything i can put in the tank. and would my spark plugs rust and not fire correct from sitting so long?

i just bought a '79 toyota tumble weed pickup. i slammed a sb 400 in it with a turbo 350 tranny. i want to sell the motor out of it its never been raced i just built the truck and im strapped for cash. the truck is my drag truck project. it has 305 heads. and is a bored 350 block. it is a sweet 400 when idling it will blow blue flames out the exaust. the motor is setup from going from street to drag. if anyone is interested in buying this motor let me know ill let it go cheaper than any sb 400s out there. its hard to find these motors anymore most all of them are owned by drag racers. ill let the motor and whole tranny setup go for 1500 bux without the tranny 1200 bux. i am a reliable country boy im 22 and im gettin married this year so it HAS TO GO .

I have a 1997 Cherokee Sport. 1 month back I had my fuel pump changed and it was replaced with another but not a pump made by Chrysler. After that my car started to smell like gas and but there was no leaking of gas until now. Today I started my car and gas was dropping down from the engine in a large amount.
Anybody aware of what this problem is or if it is linked to the fuel pump recently installed?

I have had three tune ups, transmission serviced, manifold intake repaired, o-rings replaced, 2 water pumps replaced within a year and a half, spark plug wires replaced, distributor replaced, heater hose replaced, fan switch replaces, radiator hoses replaced, timing belts replace. The car has not made it 30 days without the check engine light coming on. The car continues to have a misfire code. The bolt was bad on one of the water pumps and that took three months before they got that right. Which caused the timing belt to come off while driving into to work one day. Also it has started to run rough when I stop at a light or stop sign, when driving it is smooth until you hit about 60 -65 mph it kind of hesitates. I had the car checked for transmission problems however they state it is fine. Just this past week it stop going over 60 mph. Help, I use to love my car now I am terrified to drive it anywhere. Could the issue with the water pump cause other problems to appear now?
