I drive a 1995 Ford Contour SE with a 2.5L V6 with a manual 5-speed transmission. It has 160000 miles on it. It has been idling very poorly lately and when I put the clutch in when i come to a stop, sometimes it stalls. This has just started the past month when the temperature has been very cold. The spark plugs, caps, and wires were replaced 1.5 years ago. About 2 months ago, my temp. gauge was not working and I had the sender replaced and that has been working fine. I don't know if it's something with my timing belt, fuel injectors, fuel pump or something to do with the sender?

There is no obvious puncture and air seems to be escaping from between the rim of the wheel and the tyre. They are alloy wheels but a bit corroded with pieces flaking off.

I have a 86 300 ZXTurbo. I don't drive fast. Usually it's around town driving which I realize isn't the best gas mileage. I drive so little, but have to get gas every couple of weeks, and of course it's premium. Anyone, else have a hole in their gas tank with this type of vehicle? I get oil and air filterchanges regularly....

since the pounding of snow hit, i had a lot of snow under my car, i am trying to get it all out, i can not get it all, but i think it affected my brakes or something? Will it ruin anything being under there for another day or so? i can't get it to an inside garage til tomorrow? the temp is probably low 20's or so right now, but i can get it inside a garage soon to thaw out. i was just concerned about leaving the snow under there til then, i am doing very limited driving

Suddenly my heat doesn't work and it's very cold these days. Temperature gauge is all the way down, does not budge, even on long drives. Only cold air from vents with blower on. Thermostat replaced a month ago and heat was fine. Radiator hoses warm, not hot. I'm guessing thermostat stuck open but wouldn't temp gauge show at least 1/4 from L ? My best guess is air in coolant system. Anyone know?

It will not budge with an ordinary spanner. It still has traces of gas inside which could ignite with a spark.

I have a 93 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 350 V8. Lately it hasnt been starting unless I prime it. Ive replaced the fuel filter and still nothing. Im thinking that the only other thing it could be is the fuel injector but I would like to be sure before I replace it. Any other suggestions?

My brand new car battery is dead. I can jump it and it will run fine.. all electronics work. With all electrical accessories turn on, i get 14.7v at the battery. When i shut off the car and try to restart it, nothign but clicks. It seems either the battery isn't holding a charge from the alternator after 20-30 minutes of run time, or the alternator isn't putting out the amps. but even under full load, 14.7 v at the battery. what do you think?

I always do it, but just realized that i don't know why. I can understand the motive simply for comfort if you have a remote starter. But I beleive theres something involved with the engine. when i start my car, it idles high. until i rev it, then it idles low. are you not supposed to step on the gas a bit just to make it idle even higher? or is that doing damage because the engine isn't warm enough to rev that high?
Sometimes even, I'm in a rush and I can't sit there for 2 minutes so I just go. and nothing seemed to happen. worked fine. Of course I was still late for my appt. what degree of damage could I have just done to my car?
And do they have remote starters for standard vehicles?

I recently had a cambelt change on my ford focus at a ford garage and when I went to collect the car, they had put the old cambelt and tensioner in a see through bag. They hadn't changed the pulley though and said that it didn't need renewing. My question is where do I stand legally should the pulley fail and cause engine damage, and how long after the date when they did the job are they still liable
