As you pull up to the pump, before you do anything with the machine, take off all the little valve caps off.

If you buy gas at the station you can get the air for free, otherwise, put .50 in the machine or whatever it costs.

You control the air with the handle, it is easy, when you squeeze it, air comes out, when you dont, no air. Be careful, this is an air compressor so the air will come out ast and furious and is quite powerful.

Also the hose is retractable, making it a little hard to control it. I pull the hose over to the tire, and then step on the hose to keep it from retracting.

Place the air compressor hose on the tire valve. Once you do that you will see a air pressure gauge react. (This is on the air compressor hose). The gauge will tell you how full your tires are, it will measure the PSI. Fill your tires to the PSI recommended by the manufacturer. You can find what PSI your tires are supposed to be at by looking on the tire itself. You will see ##PSI.

Squeeze the handle to release compressed air into your tires until your tires are filled to the correct PSI.

When you are done walk the hose back to the machine instead of letting retract on its own, it could hit your car causing damage.

Hope this helps.

Most stations now have pay as you go pumps. Remove the caps from the air valves (Those are the things sticking out of the wheel covers). Look on the tires to see what the proper inflation should be. Most tires are around 32 psi. Put your money in the machine and you should hear an air compressor start up.

Place the end of the air hose firmly onto the tire's air valve. If it's not on firmly you'll feel the air blowing on your hand. A little gauge will pop out of the air hose telling you how much air is in the tire. If it needs more, press the handle for about 5 to 10 seconds and check again. Repeat as necessary.

Proper inflation makes a huge difference in gas mileage and in the life of your tires. You can also find special caps for your air valves at auto parts stores and some discount stores that tell you if your tires are adequately inflated at a glance. If they're adequately inflated, a green band will appear at the top of the cap, if not the band is red.

Hello, this is a fairly simple task... You ask two questions at once... How do you inflate your tires?
1) You pull up next to the air compressor.
2) You then remove all valve stem covers/lids.(The rubber stem poking out of the rim.)
3) You then place the money in the compressor.
4) Then you go to each tire, one at a time. Place the nosel from the compressor on the valve stems and press the trigger on the nosel. Hold down the trigger until the meter poping out of the nosel reads the same pressure as it describes on the side wall of the tires. Which should read 32lbs of pressure recommended! Make sure all tires are reading the same amounts of pressure. If not it may cause your tires to wear unevenly. Like one of the guys previous to me said, make sure when you change your oil the maintenance guys are actually checking the pressure in the tires! If you do this, you most likely will never even have to put air in your tires! There is also another option, you could fill your tires up with hydrogen, this will get you better gas mileage because of the less friction. It will also allow you to be more lenient on checking the pressure in the tires, simply because the hydrogen will not evaporate like the oxygen will.... Hope this helps!

No, it wont blow up, under the cap is the valve, it has a little pin in the stem that when pushed down opens up allowing air to be added, (and escape if not sealed). The hose tip (the brass thing on the end) has a pin in the center of itself that presses down on the pin in your valve stem, when you line up the hose tip on the valve stem (dont twist it, keep it all lined up parrellel) the pins in each push each other down and open both valves, allowing the higher pressure air from the "pump" (compressor) to flow into the lower pressure air in the tire. You know it is going well if you just hear the air flowing into the tire and no "hissing" of air escaping. The hose should have a gauge that reads out the PSI, 30-35 is good, or get a tire gauge, it works just like you are filling the tire with air, but but a small ruler with PSI marking slides out, match the PSI reading with the bottom edge of the body of the gauge to get your reading.

Most places charge 25 cents to 50 cents for air.
Use an air gauge to make sure you don't over inflate. The average PSI on a Honda is 32 and 13 is 28

if it takes money to work insert the money and then get ready for some noise! unscrew the valve steam cover. (the little plastic cover on the little rubber piece coming out of the wheel. then take the air hose with the chuck(the metal part of the air hose) and stick it on the valve steam coming out of your tire. pull the handle or lever on the hose if it has one. you should hear air going into the tire. Then release the handle or lever on the air hose and if it has one the pressure gauge will come out and you can read the pressure inside the tire. Usually you should have about 35 pounds of pressure but check your tire or owners manuel on how much to put in. then screw back on the valve steam cover and your done!

yes you can take it to the local gas station to put air in your tires. it should tell you on the side of the tires how much air pressure to put in. the normal is between 30 psi to 34 psi some are more some are less. or when you take your car in for the next oil change ask them to check your tires also and they should air up your tires and look for any damage, or uneven wear on the tires

If I was you I would buy a little air pump that plugs into your cigarette lighter so you could air in your tires when ever you need it. Plus it would be safer if you could to it at home, like if you needed air at night time there is alot fruit cakes out there. A portable air pump cost around 10 to 15 dollars.

Get a boyfriend to do it. If you don't have one flash a little leg or wear some pumps (pun intended). Get the man you flagged down to put air in your tires. Repeat as necessary. You have enough to worry about already, put your feminine charms to work and start enjoying the easy life.
