when i crank it it jumps unless i tach it up to around 700rpm's after a second or two it idles just fine what do i need? a injector timing switch? or something of that nature?

That symptom is normal on my 92. If you start the enine without touching the throttle, the engine will lope until it warms up. If you press the pedal, that tells the truck you want it to warm up faster and as such brings up the RPM's. Puts a little more stress on a cold engine, but it can handle it.

Didnt say if it was power stroke or not... may have IPR issues.. But biggest thing is oil quanity and quality on the newer p-strokes.. at full level and within 5k since last oil change.. they are very sensative to that

we've our checked flannel shirts, super boots and denims. confusing hats and gadget-belts are on the waiting, now are we waiting for that juicy sandwich and cheetos for lunch......? I in basic terms heard the lunch bell, and we are hungry....
