I have a brand new Evo 9 , which have been drove for about 3-4 months, everybodies know it snowed alot today in NYC, I tried to reverse the car but got stucked in the snow, after 2-3 times stalling . then the "service engine soon" light was turned on ....
So any expert know what the hell going on ? just because I got stuck in the snow and tried to reverse the car out already damaged the engine ?

The only way to tell what is wrong is to hook it up to a computer, most likely a sensor. You can try to disconnecting your battery cable for a few minutes, this should reset the computer and the light should go off. If it comes back on though you should get it hooked up to see what the problem is.

The "Service Engine Soon" light is never a reminder for maintenance. This light means that the on-board diagnostics has picked up something outside of the parameters it is supposed to operate in. If it is brand new, simply take it to your Mitsubishi dealer and have them look at it (this will be covered by your warranty). It was probably coincidental that it happened when you got stuck. BTW - Nokian makes some really sweet snow tires for the EVO.

its probably just the 3000 mile service warning
