since the pounding of snow hit, i had a lot of snow under my car, i am trying to get it all out, i can not get it all, but i think it affected my brakes or something? Will it ruin anything being under there for another day or so? i can't get it to an inside garage til tomorrow? the temp is probably low 20's or so right now, but i can get it inside a garage soon to thaw out. i was just concerned about leaving the snow under there til then, i am doing very limited driving

You are okay,

The major damage done to cars from snow and road salt is rust. The road salt can accelerate the process. The snow could block the breaks, but not after you have been driving for a bit. If you break from 30 mph then it should clear most of the problem. Of course you need to allow for the added breaking distance required in snow and ice conditions.

If you have brake problems then the more you drive the worse it gets. The snow probably did not create your brake problem though.

just snow clinging to the underbody of the car, the only thing that will ruin is maybe starting rust on any bare metal, since snow is and holds moisture. now if any snow is where the brakes are, may just need to give yourself a slight more stopping room so when the ice is melting and water gets on the rotors, you may have a little more stopping distance. but it shouldnt ruin or damage the brakes in any way

again with the ebrake question? No the probabilities are severe the in elementary words ingredient that occurs is the brakes might want to have overheated. because you probably did not aspect out an glaring scent or smoking situation, possibilities are severe you probably did not do any harm. To be secure, deliver the motorized vehicle to a sturdy brake save and performance them inspect the brakes. do not forget to have them regulate the ebrake cable, because it of route would not artwork or you've talked about at the moment that the brakes were on. do not pressure it with the brakes on ever again. sturdy success

no dont worry about it . you should insure your brakes work before you get on the road. you may want to put your foot on the brake pedddle and drive about a block or so to heat the brakes up this will melt any snow in there . oh just put the peddle on a bit not full on .
other then that if the steering and brakes work your fine

You do what to get the snow out of there. It might affect brakes, but I would be more concerned about your radiator fan, struts, and other components that can get damaged by ice.

Take a deep breath. Let it out and relax.

Snow melts. Don't worry.

Salt is the bad guy so when temps reach about 40 degrees F then spray down the car and you'll be fine.

Your only real worry is salt damage, if it is just plain snow one day is not going to hurt the car.

don't worry about, it won't do any harm, cars today are all rustproofed underneath, brakes get wet all the time anyway, relax
