I was driving yesterday and unknowingly changed to neutral without depressing the clutch, while approaching a junction. I was surprised that i could do it without depressing the clutch. Therefore, i parked the car, turned off the engine, and tried to change the gears without depressing the clutch. I could! I was shocked! Is it possible to do that? I'm worried that my gearbox is spoilt or something because I thought that if the clutch wasn't depressed you would not be able to shift gears.

I know i know, many things can cause this.Can i have some input on a few culprits? I have an 87 Bronco ll fuel injected that is running rich on gas.

Hi
Can you put a synthetic oil additive ( Like LUCAS) in GM supercharger oil when you change it?
The M90 Eaton holds 8 oz and I was thinking about subbing in 1 oz Lucas Full synthetic oil stabilizer.

What is your thoughts or experinences?

I'm driving a Hyundai Excel 1500cc at the moment, and if I'm not mistaken, it should be sth about 66-70kW..

Is there any way to tune it up for a bit so that it gives a greater power on the road? And if so, how much would it cost generally in Melbourne Victoria?

I'n my case, My 2004 Tacoma Pre-Runner,bought new, 18,000 miles. I over-heard a fast-talking service tech telling a woman that 9000 miles could be normal, even on her brand new vehicle. Then they want $200 to fix them. And that is after they charged me $60 to "inspect and Adjust" the brakes. Besides the E-Brake, are there any "adjustments? Isn't this fraud?

i have a 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS with a 3.1L V-6. i start my car and it turns over and runs but my starter stays kicked in and as soon as i turn of the ignition the starter keeps going and then stops after 30 sec or so. sometimes the starter wont even move when i try to start the car.

I need to find a front and rear bench to replace my broken captain front seats and rear bench. Where can I find a good new or used replacement? Also can a full size bench fit in the rear seat, because the original is to low.

I recently changed my '87 Buick " T " over to vacuum brakes, I used a set-up off an '86 Caprice 10 3/4" booster w/master cyl. All the parts bolted up ok but I had to drill and tap the intake plenum in order to get 16.5-17" vacuum. The pedal is pushed all the way back to it's limit installed. Pedal seems Stiff to push, and is Hard then goes down off panic stops. Will not even lock up front brakes on hard stops. This set-up does not work much better than the Powermaster. Whats going on here???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kcuster57@aol.com

when the ambien temptuer is 50 f the car will running otherwise need to be warm up around 5 minute to run. it look has problem with transmetion controller because when its warm up running very good.

I have a few very small dents on my motorcycles gas tank. Sense the paint im painting it with will reflect light, and this bikes value will be based on its condition, i want the dents to simply, go away.

You may not see all the dents cause of the angle but they are there.

I dont have the materials or skill to cut and weld the tank, and i dont know if that thing u can buy can undent this thing with suction becuase this is pretty thick metal.

Last question, if i have this professionally painted, how much will that cost (just the tank) and if they do it, can they undent it. If not how much will it cost to get it undented?

both of the cooling fan will run very slow, making the engine to overheat. if i unplug the cooling temperature sensor, it will make the fans to operate normal, but i loose the temperature gauge. any idea of what can be wrong

My car is messed up. I have asked a question about it on here before. So here is whats going on. I have a 97 ford taurus. My AC didnt work during the summer. My heat now dosent work. It blows hot for like 30 secounds then blows out cold air. My coolant level in the radiator is fine. I have changed the theramstat. What else could be wrong and how much will it cost to fix it? Would I be able to fix it my self or do I need to have it profesionally done keeping in mind that i know little to nothing about cars. Please help me

because i have a idle problem when i get up to tempature my idle starts purging between 700 and 1900 rpms is it my timing or throttle body? but my friend said it may be the timing so i wanna try that first
