econoline van and all its doing is slipping;

i own a repair shop,and if that's all it doing, then its about out on it, this is the worse sign you could have on one to happen,usually they,ll warn you buy not changing good or something,but if its slipping bad on it its probably ready to give out ,and it will stop pulling on it,sooner or later you need to take it by a good transmission shop,and have them look at it,and get there opinion on it,also, smell the fluid,and look at it,,it should be brownish looking,and smell burnt,,but i think your going to be walking soon if you don't have it repaired,,good luck,i hope this help,s.and happy thanksgiving.

It starts to slip...transmissions are funny like that, if you think you've got a problem, then you probably do. Start by checking the fluid though.

it could just be low on fluid, did you check it? :(
