Check the fuse for the fuel pump. Check the relay that turns on the fuel pump. With the ignition switch off, remove the gas cap, and have someone turn the ignition switch to the on position while you stick your ear to the gas tank and listen for the pump to come on for about 2-3 seconds. If it does not, and you have checked the fuses, and relay, then there are a couple of things to suspect. One: The pump has gone bad. Two: The pressure regulator is bad. One other thing that can cause this is; a clogged up fuel filter, or a hole in the fuel line somewhere. I would vote for the pump being bad, as this is the case 99% of the time on a chevy blazer. I own one, and I have had to replace the pump a couple of times, and I have had to replace the pressure regulator once. It's my wifes car, and she has driven it more that 250,000 miles now, and it has been a good vehicle so far. I have kept it maintained well, and she drives a lot of miles each day to and from work. They are good vehicles, and other than the fuel problems, we haven't had to do much to it. There is a valve on the fuel rail near the back of the engine, that you can use to check the pressure. Push it in (like a valve on a tire) and it should squirt gas pretty good with about 40-50 lbs of pressure. The best way to check the fuel thing is to; Remove the snorkle from the throttle body. Purchase a can of Carburetor/choke cleaner from a parts store. Push the gas peddle to the floor, and spray about 2-3 seconds of this into the throttle body. Now try to start the engine, if it starts and runs for a few seconds, this will rule out any other problems other than a fuel pressure problem. DO NOT spray and try to start the engine at the same time, because it might backfire and set your butt on fire. Spray, back away, and try to start the engine. Replace the filter under the vehicle on the drivers side about half way back. Watch that you don't loose the little O-rings or damage them. They go on the fuel lines, and are used to seal off the lines to the filter. If you damage or loose them, this will keep it from running, and cause it to not have fuel pressure enough to run the engine. You must drop the tank down out of the car to change the fuel pump, so test the new one before you put it in, as this can save a lot of headache in the long run. Under the hood on the drivers side of the vehicle around the master cylinder, you will find a red wire that is used to test the fuel pump. Hook a 12 volt supply to it for a few seconds to see if it will run, and if it will you will need to replace the fuel pressure regulator. I'm glad I could help you, and hope you get it fixed soon. Good Luck!!!

OK there is a few answers actually one could be the fuel filter located under the vehicle on the frame the next one is a fuel pump or relay i don't think you have a fuel shut off valve but all this and there locations can be found in your owners manual but best to start with filter take it off and blow through it if goes through freely than good but if not replace it
