In UK, it's about £2000
But if you got to another country you might get it for about £400

The answer is YES! you can have a 4x4 vehicle converted to run on gas but you might get abit of a shock when you hear how much its going to cost in £. (you can think in the £5 to 6K range for a vehicle of that size & you wont be far off IMO).

**Secondly, even if you convert the engine to run on gas, its NOT going to get around the consumption problem though. Because its a larger size engine its definately still going to consume a high level of gas.

**Further problem is although gas does cost less than convential fuels its still hard to find filling stations that have it, although its true they are become more common.

If you are in the Uk, you can get a whacking grant towards it, but I cannot remember if it is when car is new. But I think you can still get a grant towards it if your vehicle is under a certain age.

Contact your local installer, they will let you know. Good thing is, it is a lot cheaper to run on gas. Good luck.
