My Dodge 2002 Stratus front passenger window is stuck all the way down and won't roll up. It is a power window, and it just won't roll up. It has done this before but has always rolled up within an hour. This happend last nite and it has been 12 hrs since and still won't roll up. I checked the fuses and it's not that because only the front passenger window is stuck the other windows are still functional. I don't want to take it into town to find out it is something that I possibly fix at home. Plus I would have to travel into town which is 15 miles away from me. It just got done snowing where I live and is about 30-40 degrees right now. So I would like to find an alternative to going to a mechanic.

3.4L
noticed a slight antifreeze leak coming from somewhere under the engine. The closest engine componant to the leaking area that I can Identify is the crankshaft pulley. I recently had my a/c compressor replaced and there was no coolant leak before then.
are there hoses that run between the engine and the frame?

I'm an intelligent woman, so I hate to admit this, but Im pretty much clueless when it comes to car repair. Every time I go into a mechanic shop, whether it be for a simple oil change or a flat tire, there's always something else that needs to be fixed. I've very skeptical of the easy sale of something that I dont really need, but also nervous that I may really need it (the repair)! Has anyone out there actually caught this or have advice for me to be able to detect it without having to go throught the trouble to get a second opinion?

The battery isn't dead, because when I turn the key, the radio and heater come on. But when I try to start the engine, it just makes this weird clicking noise and won't start. Any advice?

I've tried platinum plugs, with no results. I've tried better gas or octane boosters, with no results. Yes the tires are inflated properly, and NO, I,m not going to take out the back seats to lighten the load. I've had my cruiser for a year now. I love everything about it except the gas millage. And, it doesn't steer as well as my 1985 T-bird did. Is that because the cruiser is a front wheel drive and the T-bird was a rear wheel drive, or could there be something wrong with the front end or steering. The tires are wearing good, and it tracks a straight line.

when i was in my junior year, i worked high school as an assit. auto service helper about 1 year because i graduated deaf school, then went to deaf college in big spring, tx and graduated 2004 as i had certificate as a auto technlogy... i applied all auto jobs, but most people did not hired me because they thought i was deaf as i can't do it. that does not make sense. for example, my ex-teacher was full deaf and he worked auto technology for aas degree in same deaf college about two years, he worked real job in san marcus about few years, he heard about deaf school for open house, and he got hired as a instructer. surprise?

I was making a left turn today, and cut a curb on the driveway. Now my car makes a thumpa-thumpa noise when I drive at lower speeds, turn and even start after braking. Almost as if there's something stuck in the undercarriage or rubbing. Upon external inspection I've found nothing out of the ordinary.
I'm thinking I messed up the alignment or worse yet ganked a cv joint???

A garage just phoned my friend to tell her that they had done a full service on her car but could not get the bonnet open. They claim it was her that must have broken it before the car got taken in. But then, how could they service it? Sound like bunch of lying toads up to no good to me!

Two quick questions; First, I had my brake pads, rotors and calipers replace on my Accord. The guy said he put organic brake pads on b/c they are better for a Honda than semi-metallic pads. I've looked online and it seems organic are the cheapest ones you can get. Which is correct? Second, since having the work done, my car pulls to the left. If I take it back, should they charge me more to align it correctly, or is it pulling b/c of something that they did? I appreciate the help.

I bought new tires for my motor home, and the shop couldn't balance tires in my size. They said they didn't need balancing. I've only driven on them for a short distance and it seems OK; however, should I balance them? Has anyone used the balancing powder? If so, what has been your experience.

The compass follows the direction except East and West are mixed up -- but only part of the time. Once it starts doing that it will continue until the engine is off for a period of time.

I have run it through a calibration as described in the owners manual but it comes back. It appears to move with the directions I am turning.... just reads backward.

I keep getting the "service engine soon light" (I had it read and it said it was either the o2 sensor or catalytic converter). The car seems to be running absolutly fine but I don't want to damage the engine.

I just had my front breaks and rotors replaced. I’ve noticed, that my emergency break seems to be very hard to pull up (but I’m able to pull it up somewhat.) Is this because everything is new or, is there something wrong? I’ve also heard a new noise coming from the front end of the vehicle (when in motion) is this just because the rotors are new?
