noticed a slight antifreeze leak coming from somewhere under the engine. The closest engine componant to the leaking area that I can Identify is the crankshaft pulley. I recently had my a/c compressor replaced and there was no coolant leak before then.
are there hoses that run between the engine and the frame?

Could be the waterpump.

But there are 3 hoses.

The under-hose which obviously runs under.
the over hose which comes out of the top of the radiator.

and the bypass hose which is usually towards the front of the motor.

You could have def. damaged one of these hoses fixing the ac compressor.

so take it back and let them look at it.

i'm a journeyman and function over 15 years in with GM. initiate with a compression try as which will inform you if the pinnacle gaskets are good or no longer. the three.one million liter engine does have a history of intake gaskets leaking. in case you check out the 4 exterior corners of the intake you're able to locate coolant leaking. if it is so, you will might desire to interchange the intake gaskets. mutually as the intake is off, reseal the cap it extremely is the oil pump stress off the camshaft. that's appropriate below the thermostat housing and you're able to locate that that's leaking oil. you're able to desire to thoroughly flush the crankcase to get each and all of the coolant out or bearing injury will happen. i think flat cost time on that interest is approx 6 hrs. additionally, The intake and exhaust pushrods are distinctive lengths and in case you blend them up, the engine won't initiate, or have a bad missfire that could injury the valves. Get a instruction manual for this engine and you will do precisely effective. Bleeding the air from the cooling gadget is likewise a particular proceedure yet is actual executed in case you maintain on with the learning. good luck.
