I changed the leaky left rear whl. cyl. and installed new rear brake shoes. I filled the master, started the truck and proceeded. I was doing the pump & hold method but could'nt get fluid to come out the left rear bleeder. The brakes are now spongy and seems like the rears are not working. The brakes worked great with the leaky cyl. Maybe I should have just left it leak. What's next and how do I get the light to go out? Dave

Ok, so I have a 1998 chevy cavalier and it's an automatic. It's done this a few times, and it always scares the crap out of me because it acts likes it's stalling. It's almost always when I am braking, but the engine will shut off (or slowly peter out) but the lights and electric of the car stay on. I have no clue what the problem is... any ideas?

I have a motor home with gas appliances. I have a full tank of gas but am not getting gas to them. Yes, I have checked the tank and it is between 3/4 and a full tank and the valve is open.

i just bought a brand new ford 6.9L injection pump. I go to prime and i get fuel from the primer but my truck wont start. the glow plugs get hot an it will turn over intll the battary are dead but it just wont start.

Does any one know what I can do?
I bought a Caravan on 8-21-06 At Starrs car In Perry Ohio I drove it off the lot and 22 miles later the engine light came on I went back and Jason the salesman checked the codes and had said it was a sensor bad they did change it and I drove 122 miles and the same thing happen Starrs Car changed the 2nd sensor Then I drove 1300 miles and it stopped shifting codes were showing sensor JJason said to leave it with them and they would take it to a transmission shop well I did it was left on 9-29-06 and I rented a car from them. I called the trans. shop on 10-05-06 and Rich said their was nothing wrong with it he said to pick it up and drive it and see what happens Starrs car took me to pick it up after I paid 97.00 for the rental! I drove it 27 miles and the engine lite is on and Shifts really hard to rhe lower gears I owe 7,000 and made one payment and 750 down. Is their anything i can do to get my loses back? I picked up the Van on 10-05-06 after work

I know it is somewhere in the exhaust.I just picked this car up late last night and the woman had it checked and they told her the O2 sensor was bad.A quick peek under the hood and I didn't see it.3100,automatic.Is it under the car?

I need the name of the hose that goes from the drier/acumulator to the a/c compressor on my 1997 ford taurus sho. I went to a friends house and he told me that the hose was leaking but he didnt know the name of it. In the link below is a picture of the drier with the hose i dont need but the one that is missing in the picture is the onw i need. I just dont knwo where to find the name to this hose.

I start my car up and drive a few feet then put my feet on the gas and it stays at 25 miles it doesn't get to the speed of 40 it jerk alot only when i put it in gear 2 is when I can get to 40 I can not drive on the freeway because it doesn't accelerate to the neccessary speed it squeaked when i pull off fast and the temperature gauge goes to hot i pull over and it starts overheating with smoke coming out new plugs were put in and a filter and it still drives very sluggish am i missing something.

I have a 2005 Ford Escape. I bought it used, but the vehicle had one owner who had it for 3 months & decided she didnt like it.
When I bought it, they went over it with a fine tooth comb..so they said.
4 days ago, I filled my gas tank up & now I have a ticking/tapping/clicking like sound that was not there before I put the gas in. Is it possible that I ended up getting bad gas? Or do you think it could be something more?
I have a little more then 1/2 a tank left, so do I wait until the gas is gone or should I have it looked at?

i have a 2004 chevy blazer, 2 not 4door, 4.3 Vortek V6, 2wheel drive, 40,000 miles on it. I'm getting bout 15highway,mpg, i should &filter every 3000miles or sooner, i clean&re-oil my K&N air filter every 6000miles, change my fuel filter every 12,000miles, i have no trans filter to replace. So what can i do to regain my lost economy? should i replace the gear oils in the standard trans, or the rear end, do i have to use syn. oils only, whats the darn problem? I'm even considering buying a dual electric fan kit to replace my belt driven fan, just to free up a few hp, but those kits are $200.00 or more, would anything like that even make any diff.? i came up with the idea cause i know the silverado with the same engine has bigger air intake hose, bigger exhaust and two electric fans not belt driven. Some one please, please tell me the best thing to do.
