i just bought a brand new ford 6.9L injection pump. I go to prime and i get fuel from the primer but my truck wont start. the glow plugs get hot an it will turn over intll the battary are dead but it just wont start.

While cranking the motor over, crack the nut loose on the injectors (one at a time). You should see the fuel coming out and air bubbles coming through the fuel. Once the air bubbles stop or slow considerably, tighten it down while you are still turning over the motor and move on to the next one in line and repeat the process. You may need to hook up a battery charger to help you to keep turning it over. Eventually, you'll get all (or at least enough) of the air out and it should start up.

Did you install the pump yourself? They have to be timed to the engine, might want to recheck. Also the engine shuts down by cutting off the fuel, so the stop switch is on the pump, might want to check it also.

You still need to bleed the air from the system.
(all the injectors, and rail)

probably water in fuel tank.
