1.DICONNECT BATTERY
2. MAKE SURE YOU DID #1 and that car is cool
3 Locate starter
4 get wrench perhaps 1/2 inch
5. disconnect wires
6. uninstall starter hold starter while loosening bolts.
7. reverse process
recoonect battery and test car

Easy job,You need to disconnect the battery first.Jack up the front of the car and block it securely,remove cable and wires on starter,then remove two bolts that hold starter to the trans.,then pull the starter out and down.Reverse this for installing the new one.

If you are going to keep the car for awhile then I suggest you buy a Hays Manuel on this car... It will tell you step by step how to fix just about anything on that car and there only about $15.00 at the parts store...

get a wrench. drive up on ramps chock wheels, disconnect battery. Remove wires at starter, replace with rebuilt model. reassemble. Wash hands, remove chocks, reconnect battery, insert key. (cross fingers) test. drive down ramp.
