does anyone know where i can get a supercharger for my 1991 nissan maxima? its a 3.0 V6 SOHC. or, if anyone could explain to me how an electric supercharger works? more specificaly, how the electric current powers the fan to move?

it is too small to put into the dipstick i cant get a funnel to fit into the small hole of the dipstick and plus the dipstick is to far down into the motor Please help asap

Hi there, as I mentioned above about transimission, this 1991 G Voyager 3.3 and have almost 250+ miles ( I know they are a lot) well just wondering that its not going into second and third gear suddenly, as what happened actually that I was driving in rain and suddenly all the gauge/lights start flashing and then after a while the gauges stopped working, I parked the car, it was driving OK and called the mechanic and he said may be the computer problem, we did a test drive and felt that its not changing gears, mechanic change the computer and the gauges came back on but tranny didn't. So is there any relation between the gauges and tranny and is it worth to fix it and how much would it cost, I am from Detroit,MI area so anyone around from here. Many thanks in advance.

My car, 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse, has aftermarket springs and shocks. These provide a very bumpy ride, so the interior panels of my car rattle. It's very irritating. Is there any easy way to go around fixing them? Some type of puddy used for this purpose, for instance? Or is there a good place to find replacement parts; door panels, interior side-view mirror panels, etc. that will fit?

When I go over speed bumps my cherokee dies. It starts right back up. It seems to do it more when I go slowly over a bump, and when its on the passenger front side.

Hi, My boyfriend and I have a 99 Ford Escort and have gotten the alternator and batterty replaced within this past year. The car runs great and never has any other problems. But recently he was driving the car and it stalled, but before it stalled the radio was shutting on and off and the gages were going up and down like the car was possessed!!! Last time it did this a year ago, it was the alternator and that was fixed. Does anyone have any idea's of what this sounds like before we take it from shop to shop to have it looked at?? Thank you!!!!

Details of Violation: my gt still dosent start even with starter fluid yea it cranks and i even put some starter fluid but did nothing this happen so sudden can a computer get bad in a shot time because it was driving just fine the weird thing it that it dosent show the milleage just some signs and the gauges go all crazy and one otherthing is that the thief light dosent stop blinking????

The starter and generator needed to be fixed. The places around here were charging between 400 dollars for rebuilt parts, or 500 or more for new, but fiance found a place...the guy looked at it and said it would cost $91.97 (or maybe he meant between 91 and 97 dollars?). He said the other places were trying to rip us off. Anyway, he called today saying the work was done and the bill was 230 bucks! Thats a 250% markup from the verbal estimate! We really dont have the money and woudlnt have gotten it fixed if we knew it would be that much. My problem is that he did the repairs without talking to us first, since it was obvious that it was going to cost much more than his verbal estimate. I called up complaining and he was rude to me and fiance, and said he would take off the parts and give us back the mower and old broken parts.

My ?...is he still going to charge us for labor? Should we pay it? Or just tell him to keep the mower in exchange for the bill? something else? HELP!

I have a Volvo 740/1991 model. I have taken it to three garages and none of them can find the problem. The car will just suddenly stop, meaning engine dead, while driving. Sometimes right as I am about to stop, sometimes when I am slowing down, there are times while i am comfortably driving. Whenever it happens, it will start right away but lately I am having a hard time starting it. I just took it to another garage to have it electronically check, the mechanic said that the only thing he saw was a leak in the vacuum hose. He said he sealed it with a silicone seal. I drove it and after one day, it happened again. Pls, pls help.

The boots over my cv joints are both busted. I've been told however that they cannot replace just the boots because of how much labor they have to do/ warranty issues that all they can do is replace the whoe axil. Has anyone ever had expereince with this. And if that is true I'd be better off waiting until my axil goes bad to get it replaced don't you think (as I've heard a bad cv axil gives you ample warning time to replace it before breaking down)
