When using an air compressor with my cigar lighter the fuse keeps getting blown, other accesories such as phone chargers dont have a problem. I'm wondering if this could be either a problem in the wiring, the air compressor calls for too much power, or a fault in the compressor? what do you guys think?

The car in questions is a 1999 Nissan Maxima. I have a new module, and 2 new bags. The collision was not bad, (small amount of damage if any to the front bumper).

Alos if anybody knows where the airbag module is that would be a big help too.

i have a 1998 nissan maxima, and its been sitting a few months due to needs transmission im about to put it in shop to get that fixed but ive been noticing since its been sitting, everytime it rains or i clean the engine/something with water it gives me a problem starting, what could be getting wet? ive installed a cold air intake since its been sitting but thats not getting touched as i never cleaned the engine then and it did it before, and i had it diagnostic tested and had a valve 5 misfire so i planned on changing all spark plugs and plug wires once the car is mobile again, any other thoughts on what i could do to stop this? and the ignition switch is kinda messed up as in where the original key i can literraly take the key out of the ignition when the car is in drive or anygear and running, so i usually spend a few seconds messing with that to get the key in the right spot to start the car but ive been noticing this in the rain, any answers?

I know nothing about cars. I am assuming it's the battery and will try to get it to the shop for that. But I'm not completely sure that's what it is. Just thought I'd get a quick opinion before I try to get someone to jump the vehicle.

I accidentally got gorilla glue on the door of my car and I have been searching everywhere online for a solution to help me get it off, with no luck. Any help? I do not want to scratch the paint, that's the whole thing. Their are two drops/smears that drive me crazy. Please help.

All the ball joints were replaced about 4 months ago, but the repair shop (which is in Germany where we are stationed) keeps telling me that the upper right ball joint is bad and I need to replace the passenger side inner tie rod (which I guess is also the "intermediate rod" since thats what they keep calling it). These repair shops have a tendecy to try to screw us over with our husbands gone so I don't know if I am getting taken for a ride by them or not. My husband (a mechanic) is in Iraq right now so he can't help me. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem? It is driving me NUTS!!!!

I have a wrecked car that I'm using for parts, for the newer version of the same car, that I have. My boyfriend is telling me that I can sell that catalytic converter from my old car, that I would never need it. But what if mine goes bad? He says cars do just fine w/out them. I want someone else's opinion. And if I did sell it, what would it be worth? (from a 95 Eclipse) Thanx!

I know nothing about cars. I just dropped $700 on my 40k maintenance check. How do I know if they really changed the transmission fluid and did all the things they were supposed to. I can see the lube on the door hinges, but what about under the hood? My transmission feels the same. Thanks and help!

Its a 2000 Jetta.
