drain the gas tank , put it back together and unhook the gas lines up front.. i think fords have a fuel filter under the hood that unhooks easyly ..then turn on the key so the pump runs the as much gas as possiable out .. then i would fill the tank up as much as i could and add somekind of fuel additive ... ... did someone do the old sugar thick on ya..

depends on what it was contaminated with.
First thing I would do is disconnect fuel lines and drain fuel tank.
Flush out fuel lines, and refile with premium gas w/injector cleaner.

Syphon all of the gas out. Add a gallon or two more and syphon that out. Then fill up with fresh gas.
