if your looking at the cap and the coil plug is at the top. then the #1 cylinder plug is on the right bottom.

Whichever one you run the number one plug wire too. You must first verify the #1 cylinder is on top dead center and then find out where the rotor is, this will give you the position of the number one plug wire on the cap.

It's the one at the 7 O'clock position on the cap - Just to the right of the vacuum advance.

you usually align it so that the nipple on the distributop cap is pointing toward the number one cylinder, firing order is as follows 18657432 clockwise

first plug drivers side they go odd on drivers side even numbers on passenger side
