I know nothing about cars. I am assuming it's the battery and will try to get it to the shop for that. But I'm not completely sure that's what it is. Just thought I'd get a quick opinion before I try to get someone to jump the vehicle.

it's the battery. you may also have corroded connections. getting a jump only means you are going to stuck away from home. have it replaced.

Dont waist your money on a shop unless you absolutely have too, first consider the age of the battery and check to see if you left anything on.... get a jump drive it around for about 15 to 30 min and the alternator should charge it up.. if it doesnt restart after that, then get a friend that knows a little about cars to help you determine if your alternator belt is okay or if you have a dead cell in your battery, if neither have them check the alternator itself.. still have problems then i would take it to a shop... good luck

Yes, and if the battery is over 4 years old, you need a new one.

Its probably the battery. Look at your gauge when you turn the key a little ways and see what the battery gauge reads at. If its low or barely moves up then it needs replacing.

dead battery would usually make a clicking sound. do other electrics go on? like radio, lights, etc.? if so then your battery might not be the issue. it could be a worn out starter or ignition system.

I would start with the battery. Charge it up and see if it starts, if it doesn't then you need to move on to the fuel system or ignition system.
