My car was broken into, very little taken (a few scratched copies of CD's is all I think)

But the passenger window was smashed. Can I get this repaired through my Insurance (I am fully comp) without losing my no claims bonus? I do not have protected no claims as I am still building them up after a break in about 3 years ago!

Thanks.

My car has some minor issues that I cant afford to fix but I can afford to pay the inspection fee if theres a place that will be flexible and give me a sticker. I used to go to a place like this but the guy retired. I will fix the problems but I just need more time. I am in Somerset County.

we have full cover comercial on our f150, last month we drove to a tree, the insurance company sayed that they will fixed, we drop the truck off on progressive repair center because they sayed that will be quicker and better, they give us the truck back yesterday, and we find out that de headlights dont match, the trim around the front grill is after market and does not look quite the same, but the worst part is that the truck is pulling to the left, so they did not fix the truck, only the body shop and partially... now we went to made the alignment and on tire kingdom said that the truck direction need to be fixed, so progressive did not touch that, on the meantime, we are losing work because we dont have the truck runnig good,(my boyfriend is a PI so he need to have the truck in perfect runnig conditions..) what we can do to push the company to do the right thing and dont take more time?

Last year I was in an accident where I was stopped at an intersection and someone was hit broadside as he turned by a woman who ran the red light and his car flew into the front of me. I called the insurance company and they went through with everything and they said it was fine they had the police report I was not at fault, didn't have to pay a deductible or anything and everything was fixed.

I'm looking at having to get my own policy sometime soon here and I was talking to this guy at a company and he was trying to tell me that if I've been involved in any accident no matter what I have to disclose that and it will certainly lead to me receiving a quote of higher rates.

Is he full of it or can they actually penalize me for having been in an accident which was not my fault, the police report confirms that, and it was the other driver's insurance who paid for everything?

Thanks

There was an auto accident with two vehicles. Vehicle 2 was at fault of the accident. However vehicle 1 was revoked of his liscence and did not have a liscence at the time of the accident. He was issued a 511.1A. Does it matter that driver one doesnt have a liscense?

On a major highway a driver not paying attention rear ended me and hit me so hard it did structural and mechanical damage and has been deemed unrecoverable. Will I get retail value? What measures should I take so I won't get ripped off.

This happened November 2006. They were the ones at fault and the damage was cosmetic only. Their insurance company cut me a check. I never cashed it because I believed it to be a bit under what it should have been. I had planned on getting an estimate and returning to them if the check was not enough, but it was a very busy year and I never got around to it. Now its been over a year and the check is no longer good. Will they reissue the check, or am I out of luck because I waited this long? Oh yea, this happened in the bay area, California.

My hubby had cosigned (yes I know--BAD idea, I tried to tell him) a loan for a car for his older brother. His brother had the car since July and paid only one payment. We had to pay the rest ($2k all at once) and then we told him he needed to give us the car. We live out of state from him. They had their father drive the car up here. Before he left, my hubby asked his brother if it had insurance and his brother said it was paid up till the 28th. We get the car in our possession on the 21st. On the 22nd, my hubby was driving this car home from work and some crazy person was driving recklessly and hit my hubby in the car and left the scene but my hubby did get his plate #. Thankfully he did not get hurt, the car was not so lucky. We have full coverage ins on our truck. We call his brother who then tells us they had already dropped the ins. We did not insure the vehicle yet since we were told it still had it. Both co said they will not pay. What to do? Any advice?

Someone rear-ended our 1977 Chevy Blazer. We had just finished rebuilding everything on it. The seats, interior, paint and engine. The kid who hit our PARKED blazer has insurance. However, the insurance wants us to settle for $1500. We are not happy with that settlement offer and would like to know who we would go after in court if this goes legal. We are not trying to be greedy, but would like at least what we put into the Blazer. Is the insured responsible to pay out what the insurance will not cover?

I was involved in a car accident. The citation said:conflicting story.Neither of us(the other driver and me) got a ticket. Now I am receiving chiopractic care and I hire a lawyer.I filed a liability claim against the other driver's insurance company,it is denied(I don't have full coverage).since no party was at fault from the citation, can my lawyer still collect money or is it a lost case?thank you

In Europe you insure the car. Providing you give them the car papers anyone can drive the car. A green card comes automatically with the policy.
In UK you have to answer loads of questions, some of which are ridiculous, & you pay extra for everything including foreign trips & green cards.
I was even told by one company that because I work in the town centre I was not insured to drive in the town centre even if it was to visit the supermarket on non work related business.
I found this absurd. I cannot understand the logic behind this unless it is just another way to make money while minimising the conditions that would result in a payout.

I've heard of many auto insurances that don't want to pay their customers after accidents because of some stupid little reasons.

I'm shopping around for auto insurance, and I'm curious what happens if I slightly underestimate the number of miles driven a year. Does anybody have experience whether they check this after an accident and give people problems if the number was exceeded? If they do, I will have to overestimate this number just in case, even though I know I will probably not drive that much.

Thank you for your help!

How long did it take you to get one?
How old were you?
I got it 4 days before I turned 19 and I failed the test 3 times.
However, I passed the permit test when I was 17 like right away.
